New images of War for Cybertron Optimus Prime have surfaced featuring a comparison with Henkei Optimus Prime. The new figure is missing a considerable amount of parts, though it can be seen it's slightly smaller than a Voyager size toy. To view the images of the headless horsemen, click here. Additionally, the older photos of Optimus Prime with his parts can be seen here.

Again, it's missing parts.

No one said it's a voyager, just so you know...

I know nobody said it was Neko, I just personally had a feeling it would be a bit bigger than that.

Give me your face!

Looks smaller than I expected (not that there was much indicating it's exact size). The lack of parts makes him look even tinier.

Not only does he look smaller than i expected, but of cheap plastic. The silver has turned into that cheap Universe Smokescreen gray, and the red is brighter... i'll still get it, but it'll get a coat of paint.

*Imagines the character in Leader size*

Damn, that would be something I'd buy without hesitation.

I think it had been mentioned in a previous thread that this whole line will be deluxe scale.

It's a bit of a disappointment to see that confirmed.

If I remember correctly, there was an earlier post describing that all of the WfC toys would be about deluxe size. Some dude going on a tour in the UK or something, I can't seem to find the article that was posted. Oh well.

Nice detail for the size, though. I'm hoping the game lives up to all the hype this is getting.

I actually don't mind that concept...keeps it more affordable. Difference between a voyager and deluxe is pretty minor anyhow. What, inch and a half, two inches?

Maybe someone confused Prime for the Headless Horseman somewhere along the way...
:-?

Anyway, I wouldn't complain too much about the entire line being deluxe class if the pictures I've seen so far are any real indication of how good the line's going to end up being.

Agreed. The the deluxe class is cheaper than the larger scales.

I thought the colors were a bit darker originally...Oh well I'm sure this will be tweeked a bit before it is released for the mass market. I'm still excited for this line to come out. I'm not a huge fan of the movie lines and I'm excited to see something new coming out. The power-combiners look good too!

Looks cool, I'll wait for the final images though before committing.

I am all for large figures, but I don't think there are going to be a lot of figures in this line. I am not upset that they will all be deluxe size. That way I can save some money for the new Universe line, er whatever they are calling it.

I'm still not convinced this is going to be a full line of figures. We've seen only three figures: BB, Prime, and Megs. That's enough for three exclusives for Target, WalMart, and Best Buy. It would explain the smaller size too...don't usually want to package a large fig with a game.

If we see more figs, I will stand corrected.

That would suck! So much for the "more affordable" notion if that's the case.
