Photogallery Update: Wal-Mart Scouts and a Transformer Wannabe

The Webmaster and photographer extrordinaire Seibertron has updated the photogallery section once more with images of the 4 ROTF scout-class figures that are sold in 2-packs and exclusive to Wal-Mart. Trenchmouth and Slap Dash are in one pack and Beachcomber and Deadlift are in another pack.

As if that wasn't enough, Seibertron has taken the effort to give his gallery treatment to a GoBot! Spoons is the first GoBot to stand in front of the camera, and probably won't be the last.

Click below to see the images, and if you see these figures, make sure you post them in our Sightings Forum.

You know, IMO, Trenchmouth looks more like BW Inferno than Reverb does, who is supposed to be the homage.

Hm, I'm kind of conflicted. In both of the packages I have one of the figures (Dirt Boss and Knockout) but I kind of like the Slapdash and Beachcomber. I also like the colours on Deadlift, but I think I prefer the colours of Dune Runner to Comber, so I guess I won't get that pack but get Runner alone. However, my Knockout is a little screwed up (at the legs, hope they fixed that), and the red on Trenchmouth (hate his name) looks cool, and for some reason I like the new look of Slapdash, almost like Wheelie. So I guess I'll get that.

Great galleries as usual by the way.

i think i'll buy Slap Dash, baptize him Wheelie, and put him on my Fansproject City Commander trailer. thing is i never had a chance to buy Classics 2.0 Wheelie so i guess Slap Dash will do.

Actually the face has some similarity to Air Razor too.

I almost want Slap Dash as a G1 Wheelie homage. Almost. I might just do that...

Beachcomber and Deadlift look great, and will be added to my collection ASAP.

Did anyone else notice that Slap Dash has a verry simular vehicle mode and color scheme to G1 Wheelie. We should burn him... wait, does he speak in rhyme?

I always thought he was a homage to Greaser actually, with the exposed engine and the flames.

Still looking for these at my Wal-Mart, though they are usually behind the curve in toys if we get them at all.

Um... THIS is Slap Dash.

And here's Wheelie

And just for the hell of it, here's the Universe 2.0 version.

The all have simular shades of light orange but the guy you posted doesn't have the dark orange shadeing and the shape of the car is closer to Universe 2.0 with a cockpit more accurate to the original.
