Next Decepticon HA figure?

I just purchased HA Barricade and really like the figure.
Upon further analysis of my HA collection,.... I realized it was getting very,.. lopsided in favor of the Autobots.
So my question, who should be next in the HA line as far as Decepticons? I personally vote for Sideways (and a Dead End repaint). Or how about a ROTF Ravage with Reedman?

There's a good chance there just won't be anymore Decepticon HA figures. The best bet would be Sideways with Alice.

Kinda sucky to think that, the HA line has been some of the best figures in the line.
I'm still at least shooting for the Ravage/Reedman, that would be beyond kewl.

I agree the odds of more Decepticon HA figures is pretty low...but even so I'd buy a HA SoundWave with Ravage and Reedman in a second, they could finally all be in scale!

That's one I did not think of. HA Soundwave with Ravage. If these were made they would suck the money right out of my bank account lol

One problem tho: all releases have been cars so far, and I don't see that changing any time soon. The only possible candidate for that would have to be Sideways, but who'd be the human? The literal femme fatale Alice?

Key word was "so far". That doesnt make it the definitive end of the idea. Not saying I am against sideways and Alice, love the idea actually.
But why not other than "so far" a Soundwave/Ravage or Ravage/Reedman? So many of us would love to see it, or so I personally think.

Some people didn't think we'd get Human Alliance Barricade. Its doubtful we'll get more HA Con's but never say never.

Do you realise Ravage needs to be scout size to be in scale?

I kinda have the feeling there won't be any more HA figures beyond Mudflap...at least not until the next movie. Unless they expand the concept beyond movie figs... I'm still not sure how well these things even sell, though.

I think you are spot on with this comment. They don't exactly fly off the shelves compared to other figures. I have doubts that Hasbro is going to come up with any more offerings, though I wish they would.

Know what you mean, after the collectors have had their fill of a new mold I see a lot of HA figures shelf warming when they hit in mass.

I'm one of those who care less about scale, and more about a great figure I guess.

Same here. Scale is... well, it doesn't factor. Gimme a good figure, any size.

I really like the HA line, in theory, but I have so many Alternators already that I just don't need any more cars in that scale. I would hope the line does well, since the figures look pretty good and it's a great idea, but I wonder if the larger scale (and thus price point) is putting people off these figures? Sort of the same thing that happened to Alternators, isn't it?

Alternators weren't bad at $20...same as a voyager. The $30 price point might be turning people off, though...I don't think they're the best value anyhow. Not entirely sure why, but I don't think most of the HA figs live up to Alternators. Part of it is the stupid human interactive "features" that take away from the fig, but even that aside, I just don't think they're as well done.
That said...I am looking forward to HA Jazz. His '07 movie figs kinda sucked so I'm hoping this one does him a bit more justice.

Ravage could be done if he was packed with another figure like Soundwave. I'd love to see both done with in the HA size class.
I think the $30 price tag is a sign of the times and understand that but it really makes me hesitate to buy to HA many figs. I loved Alternators and I thought the $20 I paid for them was a bit much at times and they had a few more details in vehicle mode than HA.
I do think more poular characters like Bumblebee will do better in the line (and movie fever in general could move others a bit) but characters like a fig like Sideswipe probably won't sell as well.
Doesn't help that his robot mode is as appealing. You'd think for that price and that size they could make a robot where that much stuff isn't hanging off his back.
That all said I think the line can keep going but it depends on the characters and quality of the figures.

I think the fact that Alternators came with rubber tires instead of the plastic ones on the HA figs is a huge difference in "quality" for lack of a better word.

True...I do love me some rubber tires, but that would be more of a minor gripe for me. I dunno, I just don't find HA to be as impressive. Alternators managed to have detailed interiors that were almost completely kibble-free...they seriously looked like model cars! And their transformations were just more fun...which I truly find odd considering how far Hasbro's engineering has come and how complex most the ROTF line is. The only thing I can think of is they had a little more freedom with how Alternators had to look whereas the HA figs already have predefined bot modes they need to try and adhere to.

Here's hoping that the next HA Decepticon is 2007 Jolt, with Cyber Key Power.
