According to the Seibertron.com reports, we're getting Thrust and Drift. Cool
So, Thrust. He'll be widely available at retail later this year. I'm glad, but I feel bad for the folks who dropped a zillion dollars on the Botcon and Henkei versions.
Can't wait to see more.

Also Darkmount aka Straxus. Triple-changing tank, gun platform, robot.
I can't wait for new classics figures and I really hope they re-release all of the Seekers.

I'm going to ki-bosh any seeker hating right now. This'll be the only warning anyone gets. Play nice and respectful or else there'll be a reckoning...
As someone who has both the Botcon and the Henkei version of Thrust, I look forward to seeing if this one is different enough to add to my collection.
Straxus I mean Darkmount sounds pretty cool from what I've heard. I love that he has his bladed staff/pickaxe thing.
I wouldn't call this line a Classics line, since it denotes a style of design. From what I gather, they're going to be homaging a lot of different lines under this one.

Drift looks pretty damn cool to me. I might pick up Thrust too if they make the con symbols purple instead of silver. Oh, and are people really still up in arms over the seekers? Really? I got the Botcon versions and the Henkei versions. There were two opportunities to land them right there. If anyone is complaining about not having them, there's no one to blame but themselves. So yeah, stoked about Drift!

No hate for mass released Thrust and Dirge on my end. I missed both past opportunities, so I'm excited to have a more affordable opportunity to get them again.

This could just be Wave 1. Hasbro said a while ago they want to do a G1-inspired Soundwave and a Beast Wars Rhinox. We'll probably see those seen, given they're still happening.

Seeker hate? Bah, no need for that. I got Henkei Thrust and love him. And I love that Thrust is now more readily available.

And this is good. Nay, great to hear this line is returning!

Drift, Straxus? I can't believe it!!! Let's hope more characters get the love they deserve.

I was surprised, the reaction's been relatively relaxed so far. I guess at this point no one really cares. I'll be buying one anyways.
I like Drift, though I'll admit Straxus doesn't do anything for me. I like him, but I never really knew who he was.

I liked the couple of Straxus-related stories I read. Not a guy who I grew up with, but what I read once won me over.
Drift is one who I know nothing about other than all the bad hype. But I like me some comic-only characters finally getting toys. He had sword sheaths and so does not smell like feet.
Thrust? I'll get him, sure. I'm a Seeker drone. But where's Sunstorm, dammit! Come on, guys!

I don't care about Straxus or Drift, but I am super excited about Thrust. Bring on Dirge and I will be all set. I love the Coneheads. In fact Classics Ramjet got me back into Transformers.

I already have Henkei Thrust and I'm glad they're releasing him in the Generations line. I'll get him solely to have a replacement VTOL engine for my Henkei toy. He has a chip in the paint on the VTOL engine. I'm also glad that people can get Thrust for their collections for an affordable price. $12 for him is going to make a lot of people happy.
I really want Straxus. He looks amazing. Drift is major Do Not Want. If I wanted to own a weeaboo Mary Sue/ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL White Ninja Blurr I'd just make my own.

Well, good news is I'll be saving a lot of money this year, because the only toys that I'm interested so far from 2010 Toyfair have been Thrust (I already have Botcon and Henkei), Straxus (wholly battle tank Batman!), and Drift (he looks sooo incredible in bot mode!!)
And one more thing...ahem...WHERE IS SUNSTORM?!?!?!?

So we've got Thrust, Straxus and Drift. IIRC, Soundwave and Rhinox were confirmed? If wrong, please correct.
Who else for this line? I hope Jazz...

Soundwave and Rhinox were names thrown around at some panel that I don't recall. They're not official yet.

I agree, from what I've seen Generations has barely anything to do with the Classics line.

Your sig pic is a perfect representation of the situation...dude on the left is BotCon & Henkei owners, you play Hasbro, and dude on the right just laughing about it is those that haven't already paid out the butt for Thrust.
The caption should read, "I'm Hasbro! I pwn you!!!!!!"

You would think if they were going to do any more repaints or slight remolds of older classics figures they would have also popped up at the show. Thrust was one of the only ones I saw. I love the new molds, but the lack of any hints to classics Jazz/wheeljack/trailbreaker etc mean that I will probably move ahead with Kitbashing/repainting a standin for them. I told myself i wouldn't do it until I know if classics III would have them or not.

So, we finally got Straxus.
I'd like my Scrounge figure now, please.

Definitely getting Staxus and Drift.
And I'm especially stoked about Thrust!
Since I refused to buy any of the Decepticon Classics AEC repaints as well as existing Classics Autobot molds REPAINTED as Decepticons, my army of Classic evil has been a bit light compared to the disproportionate size of the Autobot's legion. Since the only CL Seekers I've managed to snag so far are SS, SW, AS, and RJ, Thrust is a more than welcome addition!

What's wrong with Autobots repainted as Decepticons? They did that in the G1 cartoon, impersonating the Stunticons

Since when is Astrotrain a Seeker?
Sorry, was talking about Acid Storm, the green one. An unusual choice on Hasbro's part as opposed to say, Thundercracker, but a Seeker all the same.
AstroTrain WISHES he was a Seeker!

There is no other like it, though!
