Animated Arcee: Cybertron's Lady Gaga

Hasbro baby, you know, that sometimes, the way you act…well, I have no choice but to slap you around a little. You’ve gotta act right on account of my bad temper if we’re going to make this thing last.

But you know that already.

I know you know, because you gave me Animated Arcee and she makes up for a WHOLE lot of your back-talk and spending my money without asking.[/abusive relationship]

Seriously? Why has there not been a thread (until now) where we all come together to celebrate this wonderful little piece of plastic?

This toy is outstanding, from a (seeming) return to harder plastics, excellent sculpting, clever part arrangement, and posability; Animated Arcee is an early contender for TF of the year.

I’ll stop gushing over my new plastic robo girlfriend (my wife is going to be so pissed about that, but you know, possible 3some opportunity) now and let others join in the conversation.

I encourage pictures of your Arcee displays to be posted. I’ll see what I can do for pics after work. :)

(hey, if you don't like Lady Gaga...just...shut it)

I can't wait to get a TFA Arcee figure of my own...now how is TFA Arcee Cybertron's Lady Gaga? Or did I miss some reference?

I'm just as confused as Convotron. Maybe it's cause we're Canadian and have yet to experience the 2010 Animated love.

Because she's crazy awesome and it made for a good hook line. (also, she has "CLIP-ON WINGS!" as the packaged over-dramatically states, much like Ms. Gaga)

The reason everyone isn't ga ga over Cybertrons GaGa is that few actually have her. Apparently they're just hitting Florida, so I'm late to the party. That's nothing new for me though. :P

She was built with a couple of extra nuts?

Ohhhhh...now I get it. Hehe, yeah, we Canucks need some more TFA love.

I hope as a result of my reasons and not the obvious publicity stunt she did last year.

I agree, TF Arcee is pretty much everything that we have been asking for in an Arcee fig.
And she fits well with the classics line too.

Animated Arcee doesn't look anything look like anything other than an Animated figure to me. From pics she looks great, don't misunderstand me. She just doesn't work at all as a Classics/Universe figure at all IMO.

Now do you mean crazy nuts, or the other kind? Cuz I was gonna make that joke.

That said, I kinda like Lady Gaga. And I'm sure I'm gonna like Arcee, if I can ever get my hands on her. That sounds kind of dirty, so I'll just go back to work now.

Word to the wise, it's nearly impossible to put the swords in her hands without causing stress marks on her thumbs.

yeah my only gripe with the figure is the fact that I put the swords in her hands once and got stress marks. That'll be the last time my Arcee holds her swords

Otherwise she is a GREAT figure. Looks much better to me than she did in the early pics. Even the colors look better in person. Great articulation and a well thought out transformation too.

I plan to take a few pics of mine later.

She could work as a Classics figure with some work. The most obvious change needed would be a new head. Everything else could more or less pass.

One of my favorite animated figures.

This figure is fantastic. nice and posable. You can get some great poses with the swords. As for Lady Gaga, I don't get the hype about her, but whatever...

Waiting on Takara Arcee. She's only, what, two or three months away?

Yeah, sounds great.
Only problem is the fact that 5 of my local Michigan TRU's are fairly uncontaminated by the Arcee bug. I got my Cybertron Ratchet weeks ago, but have yet to see hide nor hair of her ( manifold nor wire?) anywhere. I have started to worry that she's going to become one of those damn chase pieces that I miss out on because it's impossible to find anywhere except in the possession of scalpers everywhere. :-x
Am I being premature in my nervousness? Is it possible that in a few weeks TRU pegs will be dripping with Arcees, or is she destined to only grace the collections of a fortunate few? :???:

I was thinking the same thing until the day I found mine, there were 5 of her on the pegs.

Well, that at least is encouraging.
Of course, Michigan, as evidenced by the Power Rangers RPM debacle, is slightly out of quantum phase with the rest of the country, and as a result is likely the only state that will be passed by for shipments!

I think she looks just fine for a Classics collection.

It also helps that Animated Blurr is a pimp.
