I've noticed that in 'Devastator mode' The nose of Mixmaster (front car nose) can be clicked off totaly. This isnt shown in the manual or in any picture on the internets. Also it serves no function. So why is this possible? I have to say that it makes Deva look a little bit better without the nose because his head is shorter that way.

Second thing is that you can flip back the entire cabin, and raises the same question as the car nose.. why??

The cab was detachable so that the figure could fit into the planned packaging.
