It might be a silly question but...does this figure have a tape mode, or at least a Universe Ravage type "capture mode"?

No the alt mode is the gun, no cassette mode. I just received my pair yesterday, and THEY...ARE...EXCELLENT! WEll crafted, well painted, solid, and poseable, and tight joints, very professional job.
And the fact that they have so many options for 'customizing', it's pretty sweet!
I have to say they make much better classics versions than the speakers for Takara's music label. The reissues are great, but they don't really fit with Classics line as far as articulation goes, and there is no 'piledriver mode' (at least until you buy CrazyDevy's piledriver arms).
In other words, yes, they are expensive for a 3rd party make (which is why they are expensive), but they are very sweeeeeetttt additions to a classics set.

I think the price alone is what will prevent me from getting him. Looks cool though. Seriously, why doesn't Hasbro MAKE THESE?

I got my pair in yesterday, very nice little figures. I had to sand down the peg on his hand gun before he could hold it, not that big of a deal though. My Shadowcommander set is in storage so I haven't had a chance to try to attach them as shoulder cannons. I really hope they decide to release these in blue and red. They would be perfect Classics Rumble and Frenzy.

I bought 1 the other day just to have for his look. He'll stand with my Soundwave characters since I don't have the Shadow Commander. I'll write a review on my blog once I get mine. At least that might give some other people who don't have a Shadow Commander a different take on it.

As if the video review wasn't enough! Like I said, I REALLY want this guy, even though I dont have the Shadow Commander set or an Classics Optimus Prime mold. I do have a question that does come to mind:When in gun mode, can Shadow Warrior (AKA Rumble) be help by other Classics figures like the Voyager Megatron?

it looks really cool, but I´m a little restricted in terms of internet-sold toys, so it´s gonna be hard for me to get one, but it really looks nice, and frenzyrumble already did the repaints!!!!

Geez, that guy is FAST! I think he has done some AWESOME customs, like that Devastator made up of other random Transformers like Energon Demolisher and Barricade!
