HeadRobots! What would you like to see made?

So since we have HeadRobots out there, I assume that they will first be focusing on new heads molds and new G1 Headmaster stuff, I got to thinking. I'd like to see these guys come up with a new heads for other Transformers that aren't necessarily headmasters.

I'd like to see a new ROTF Bludgeon head. Something closer to a skull like appearance. And howabout a Thunderwing type head for Voyager class Energon Megatron?

Any other ideas that some of you might want HeadRobots to possibly think about producing?

A Headmaster mini-Optimus Prime that turns into Optimus Prime's head. Makes absolutely no sense, but I always though the idea was cool... I even went so far as to design one myself many years ago, never made it, though.
Failing that, a Vorath for ROTF Mindwipe.

If they wanna branch out, I'd love to see a variety of targetmasters. Handheld weapopns, shoulder-mounted cannons, even have a pair combine into a small gun platform. I'd buy all them in a second.

Hmm... Targetmasters.. a 21st century version of Haywire. I like... I like.

TOO true! All sorts of Targetmasters, hopefully articulated where possible, and all with standard 4mm size posts - or a socket, with interchangeable posts so a standard fist-hole figure could hold the targetmaster once, then a smaller post for Classics Mirage or the like, then a clip for characters with open hands or weird fingers (or for shoulder mounting)...

A Soundave that fits into G1 Soundwave's chest. Of course that mini Soundwave should be able to carry WST Soundave in his chest too.

A headmaster for Energon Scorponok.

QFT.

A Zarak for E Skorpy would be a good idea as well.

How about a Muzzle Headmaster for TFCC Nightbeat.

A new ROTF Bludgeon head, his head just doesn't fit the movie style, they could easily make a skull head that is still movie esque. that and a new ROTF Megatron Head......it's so hideous I'm contemplating using a movie one head on him....

Hunter for G1 Sunstreaker.

Actionmaster partner updates.

Wingthing for Classics/G1Soundwave

Scorpulator for Energon Micromaster Devestator

In fact, new random characters that expand the G1 universe. Something like Top Heavy, the coolest Targetmaster ever who was wasted on the fail that is Skyfall.

Maybe someone should repaint Armada Skywarp as Skyfall, giving SF a decent mold and retool his hand so he can hold Top Heavy who deserves a worthy master.

Like Mini-cons, you could have various Targetmaster animals that can be used by any TF.

I'd rather see a targetmaster upgrade kit for G1 Optimus. Since I have a G2 version that's missing his hands, weapon and Roller figure, this upgrade would consist of:
- a new transforming "Roller" figure whose alt-mode is about the size of the original Roller figure,
- replacement hands that can hold targetmaster weapons (different from the original hands, because the U2.0 reissue had hands that can do this, if I recall),
- and a targetmaster weapon that can connect to both the transforming Roller figure and G1 Optimus Prime figure.

El Duque wrote:How about a Muzzle Headmaster for TFCC Nightbeat.

That's another one. My only complaint about TFCC Nightbeat is how that head turned out. A Headrobot that can work with TFCC Nightbeat would be pretty cool. Maybe this could be a repaint of Hothead that comes with something allowing it to "powerlink" to deluxe-class Energon Autobots (and later figures like TFCC Nightbeat that use their molds).

Blurrz wrote:Hmm... Targetmasters.. a 21st century version of Haywire. I like... I like.

It's the one thing truly missing from the Headrobots line; replacement Targetmasters. A couple of characters they could do:

Daniel – With a robot mode would be based (at least loosely) off of Daniel's exo-suit from the movie, this figure's alt-mode would switch from Arcee's head (as it would have been in the Rebirth mini-series at the end of the G1 TV series) to a targetmaster weapon. Instead of the Rebirth storyline, the profile (if HeadRobots can get by with it) would be inspired by Classics (using Marvel's G1 comic as backstory, but disregarding UK and G2 stories).

Targetmaster Warrior – The idea for this comes from the Japan only Headmaster Warriors. This would be the "Decepticon" counterpart to the Daniel figure I was talking about before.

How about an Animated Headmaster that could fit on G1 Headmasters? That'd be kinda cool. Give it a robot mode and it'll win.

How about a headmaster component for RoTF(Classics) Mindwipe?

Zarak for Energon Scorpy would be nice.

I still can't see how Daniel's Exosuit is ever going to transform into Arcee's head, but it'd be cool. Shame we've still not got a G1/Classics styled Arcee, but they could try and make it work with Animated Arcee.

Hunter for Classics Sunstreaker might be interesting.

Muzzle for ROTF Nightbeat. He so needs a G1-style head.

Fracus for Titanium Scourge.

Maybe Targetmasters for characters who weren't originally Targetmasters like Acid Storm. I've always liked the idea of Targetmaster Seekers.

A Targetmaster for the swerve/Clocker mold that fits into the port for the Cyber Key gun. Could get a repaint as Hot Rod and Firebolt then.

I think a set of Random targetmasters would be awesome, let us choose who in our collection gets a partner.

On top of that:
Hot Rod, Kup, the eventual Blurr and Scourge should get Targetmasters (if it can be modified for Titanium or Botcon Scourge, even better);

I'd really like to see one done for Energon Scorponok/Superlink Megazarak. That'd be the bees knees.
Nightbeat would be cool
Energon Inferno could finally become cool again if an upgrade to turn him into Hosehead was created.

If they just had you pop off TFA Arcee's head, and pop on a more Classics-esque version, that would rock. Have it come with a hand held gun that looked like Arcee's from the movie, and maybe a different sword, and I'd be all over it.

In fact, I have a MOSC TFA Arcee set aside for just that possibility.

Transforming heads for -

G1 Ultra Magnus
G1 Powermaster Prime
G1 Devastator (I'd like a fork-lift truck mode)

Transforming guns for -

G1 Optimus Prime (Photon Rifle that he can actually hold by the handle)
G1 Megatron (Fusion Cannon Targetmaster)
Classics Rodimus
Generations Blurr (if he doesn't come with one)

Now there's an idea.

Amelie wrote:G1 Megatron (Fusion Cannon Targetmaster)

I'd prefer a Fusion Cannon Targetmaster that can be used by both G2 Megatron and Classics Megatron (though the later doesn't really need one)

Amelie wrote:Classics Rodimus

It would be pretty cool if he got a Firebolt figure.

I saw it work in the G1 animated series (when I got home with my Seasons 3 & 4 DVD yesterday, I made a point of watching the Rebirth storyline), but that doesn't mean it'd work as a toy. That's why I'd rather see Daniel as a Targetmaster weapon in toy form.

there's a lot of impossible things happen in the G1 cartoon. For Danny to transform into Arcee's head there's mass shifting, colour changing and logic defying all going on at once. Not to mention some creepy undertones. In a toy? It'd be half-assed at the very best, because sadly, no-one with the "it should work in 3 dimensions" ideals of Don Figueroa seemed to work on that series.

which reminds me, whilst it isn't the first product that comes to mind given their releases so far, I'd like HeadRobots (or FansProject, or...and this is a major long shot here...even Hasbro) to try and make a Menasor like the one we seen in the recent IDW TF comics.

Floro Dery actually produced a number of workable designs for the cartoon. Notably Cyclonus (the toy is nearly identical to his original design), Scourge, Arcee and Hotrod (the sequence used when he transforms at Lookout Mountain into robot mode from car mode is the example in question).

I personally don't see a problem with mass-shifting, especially in cartoons. They're alien robots, not kitchen appliances.

It wouldn't be impossible to make a Daniel Headmaster of an Arcee. It just wouldn't look very good.

Didn't say it would be impossible. I just feel it'd work better if Daniel was a targetmaster.
