When you talk about longevity and Transformers toys, then the Voyager Movie Ratchet mold sits right up there. The figure has been repainted four times without any changes to mold itself. The first two repaints were in the 2007 Movie toyline as Rescue Ratchet and the Best Buy DVD exclusive. The other two are Revenge of the Fallen releases, Desert Tracker Ratchet and now Night Ops Ratchet. We were given glimpses of the figure prior to and during the 2010 Toy Fair. Thanks to GenZhao of KOToys.com, you can check out the figure below..

I like this. It's a nice repaint, I might buy this one. I only have Rescue Ratchet, but this would be nice to have.

Gotta admit, that Black/Green scheme isn't too bad.

Still don't want to buy it though.

Like you actually buy in-movie characters anyways...

Certainly a nice enough figure, I like the color scheme. I might buy it if it was a new mold.

That is a huge mess in robot mode. I personelly do not like those colors all thrown together like that. Alternet mode is almost decent but the robo ruins it for me. Is that miss transformed? cause i have rescue but i have never looked at the instructions.

Yes it is: the windows are supposed to swing back.

Just put some black on him and call it Night Ops? Well, I suppose it fits with Stealth Bumblebee, Recon Ironhide and Nightwatch Optimus Prime... O no, I'm starting to want him and the rest! Help me! :-s

Meh...

I like the mold, i have the original, I just don't like the choices in color schemes.

Perhaps if they gave him actual fists, than can hold things.

And the yellow, what's the obsession over the yellow? The least they could have done is give him him medical looking tools or something.

Why isn't he getting the attention Ironhide got with a retool, and added weapons etc...

Agreed, Ratchet needs a new mould for the Voyager class; one which is movie-accurate and shows respect for the character (same goes for the Deluxe Jazz).

After all, in 'Revenge of the Fallen' Ratchet has around 4-5 lines! (You could say 'uh, Jolt had none', but he was a last-minute addition, you can forgive that) At least in the first one they gave him some good moments, but when have you ever seen a full, clear Ratchet transformation sequence?

And look at all the possibilities for the character, I mean he's the medic; he could be a primary target for strategic Decepticon onslaughts and he has so much equipment to offer both Autobot and human (his vehicle has numerous axes and such attached to his roof, a new Voyager figure could have them be removable and 'usable'). Also, a new Voyager should have a flip-out gun and a circular saw; he needs them!

(Also, I still say Ratchet should've had the 'he's here; I smell him' line...)
