Site Sponsor BigBadToyStore has put up a preorder for the first wave of Marvel Crossover figures for 2010, sheduled for release in May.

This wave includes previously released figures such as the Spiderman/Car, the Spiderman/Motorcycle and the Venom/Muscle Car. There are new figures though, and sadly pictures are not yet available, but they are Iron-Man (again), who turns into a futuristic car, and a black repaint of the Spiderman/Car figure.

Grab some preorders of these figures here

It would be cool if they brought some more obscure characters into the line, though I guess they're too scared for the sales if they stray from the most popular characters. We should at least get some more villains though. I mean, still no Dr. Doom? Magneto? Oh well.

Another flippin Iron Man? They're doing another combiner with him and War Machine PLUS a new car sculpt? COme on. Granted the new Punisher and Thing figures look kinda cool (Punisher is Captain America repaint, Thing is Hulk-dozer repaint)...but do we really need 500 versions of Iron Man? I know there's a new movie coming out but GEEZ. How about some BAD GUYS, huh?? Doom? WHat about Sinister? Sinister already kinda looks like a robot...he'd be perfect. Maybe another X-Man. I'd even take a better Thor mold...(MUCH better please!).

Here are some pics of upcoming figures. I think the Ghost Rider figure in particular looks really good, not so sure about the vehicle but I like the robot's aesthetics. I also kind of like the Iron Man/War Machine, but too bad the robots don't combine. I'm not too keen on the Spiderman though.

Ya, but I thought they looked pretty cool and wanted to share for those who may not have seen them... To be honest though, I didn't really notice that it said wave 6, I thought it was just about future Marvel figures. Oops.

How about some classic Marvel characters like Deathshead or Circuitbreaker?

I haven't understood the meaning of the existence of this line(other than selling toys and making money)...
I am a big fan of both TFs and MARVEL heroes but a TF that looks like Spider-man doesn't appeal to me,since there is no fiction(comics or cartoon)to support this kind of hybrid figures...
Am I missing something?

It's all very zen and "Field of Dreams" in the way it works. "If we make a toy of it 'Someone' will buy it."

I'm a huge Wolverine and Spider-Man fan but, I agree that they should expand their character selection. Dr. Doom, Magneto, Deathlok, Machine Man, Arch Angel and Cable would be some great figures.

Enough with the Iron-Men already. I like his car mode though.

Spider-Ferrari not so much.

How about a Colossus, or Jean Grey or something.

A Repaint of the Human Torch mold into something else would be nice.

I loved this line when it started and was excited about all the cool possibilities, but like the rest of you I'm sick of the Spidermans and Iron Mans and beginning to think we're going to see little else, no matter how long this line continues.

Ya gotta keep in mind the main buyer of these are little kids, and most kids are pretty daft to anything but the main title characters, sadly. Not sure why that is, I collected all the characters as a kid, but whatever, that's how it is.

I cannot believe Hasbro hasn't taken advantage of owning these two franchises like that. Look at the Superman/He-Man packs! I want stuff like that! I would LOVE comic packs of Spider-Man/Megatron, Circuit Breaker/Starscream and Death's Head/Bumblebee. All my Marvel toys are Superhero Squad, but I'd totally grab those in a SECOND!

Also, I'd buy a Deadpool Transformer yesterday. 8)
