Is the Nike Optimus Prime exclusive to Japan??

My local comic shop claims that they had to import their Nike Optimus Prime and Nike Megatron (I forgot their official names). Further more, they say that it will never be officially brought over stateside. Is this true??
If so, why is that???

Ask Seibs. He has them. However, I think they were from BBTS.

Nope, no more are going to be made. Not only are they Japanese Exclusives, but they are considered a Nike product. So no second runs. Thats what I hear.

Yes, correct. It was an exclusive run. Other sports Transformers will likely appear though.
