Where is the TRU Arcee?

Hey guys, I thought the TRU Arcee was supposed to be released in February. I've been to several TRUs in 2 different states and none of them have gotten them. I've asked about them and they seem to have no idea what I'm talking about. Their website doesn't have anything about her either? Any thoughts?

O, they're out. It's just they're selling like hotcakes, and scalpers are lurking everywhere. Somebody get my shotgun!

I went ahead and preordered the Takara release on
BBTS. I'll probably see it way before I find one from TRU.

Both TRU's in my area have received them. I bought mine about a month or so ago.

They have been available in my area for at least a month, but they sell out as soon as they hit the pegs. I was lucky enough to have a friend who lived just down the road from a TRU snag me an Arcee and Cyb Ratchet when he got his or I would be out of luck to. I've never actually seen either on my outings.

I went to TRU the other day and saw 5 ratchets and no Arcee's, so yeah the scalpers got them.

Or Arcee is just easily more popular.

I have Arcee's UPC Razorclaw0000, I hope it helps.
6-53569-37933-1
And Mechabooks, Your best bet would be to just to keep searching. I stalked 3 different TRU's every weekend since Arcee was first spotted stateside. And I just finally found mine last week. And it was on my second attempt that day because the first TRU I stopped by only had the 4 Cybertron Ratchets on the shelf.

Thanks, that's the UPC I've been using, but it looks like it's tied into the same assortment code as Freeway Jazz and Electrostatic Soundwave, as it keeps reading "5 on the shelf", but it's four Jazzes and one Soundwave

Every time I've asked at the stores they've said they haven't gotten them and that they aren't in the system. I check at least 5 times a week too. Sucks. I must seem like a man possessed. There aren't too many TF collectors in the area, Mindwipes, Bludgeons and the newest scout series have been pretty easy to find. It just Arcee that seems to be eluding me. I'm not gonna give up and I won't buy one off eBay.

It was a 2 days since I was there last, which means they were all gone in a day and a half tops. I don't know what the Arcee to Ratchet ratio is, but since they were all gone that fast I'm guessing it was a scalper.

So what?
When they hit my area, I bought two called a friend to tell him they were there (he had already bought one) and the last of the four was gone the next day.
The toys are matched one to one with four of each figure per case.
It's not like collectors aren't chomping at the bit to get these. Stores typically get one or two cases so far, selling 4-8 figures that are popular in less than two days is no big deal.

One scalper seems a lot more likely than half a dozen collectors just happening to come by in a day and a half.

I'm thinking that link to the TRU's website must be new. I had them check at the store on Friday. I'm not surprised that they're sold out online.

Then you believe what you like to believe and I'll be content to go forth with my Arcee figures and a positive attitude on the matter.
If you took the time to find out just how many other TF fans you have in your area and who they are, you might have a better understanding of how these popular toys can leave the shelves so fast. Additionally, you might be able to say, "Hey buddy, grab me one of those fancy new figures if you happen to see them."
That's just my attitude towards it. Problem encountered? Find solution.
Complaining about scalpers and other such ghosts hasn't really netted any benefits yet eh?

Add this to the fact that there are only about 30 Arcees on e-bay right now...

I worry that there won't be that many Arcee's released, considering it's an exclusive from a line that's been discontinued. Frickin' Toys R Us!

Actually, the link was posted on here a good 1 1/2 weeks to 2 weeks ago! I made a 35 minute drive to a TRU to pick up an Arcee. Totally worth my drive

Networking with the other local collectors is the way to go. Using the sightings board on another fansite I've connected with about half a dozen other collectors and we help each other out. That's how I got my Acree and Ratchet.

Got 'em! Glad the race is over for me! I went this evening to Tru and their shelf only had a few of the older figures on the shelf. I brought the UPC with me and asked if they had any info. Guy said they had them in stock. He went out back and brought the case for me. It only had one of each left so I snagged them. I can tell by the layout of the case that it comes in an equal ratio of 4/4. The box said nothing but animated deluxe. The only positive thing that I heard is thAt they were having a hard time getting deliveries because of snowstorms in New Jersey. I asked when they got them and he had no clue. I had been searching daily since January. Pays to have the UPC! Thanks Razorclaw0000!
