NASCAR Transformers? Do they exist?

I'm a NASCAR fan. Do NASCAR Transformers exist? and if they do how can I obtain them. If they don't why not? I feel like they would be perfect for Transformers. You get one nice mold (more molds if you use Nationwide or Truck Series), and 50 completely justifiable repaints. Outside of the hefty fees to use the Nascar brands, it seems like an easy way to make a lot of different figures on the cheap.

I can't see Hasbro purchasing the rights to use NASCAR-specific brands or cars, partly because Hasbro hardly ever buys brands and partly because NASCAR doesn't seem to be especially popular outside the US. Maybe they would release NASCAR inspired cars with Classics Mirage-style fake sponsors.

The last I saw that came close to NASCAR were in the G2 line. The Go-Bots. A couple of them were based on stock cars but not NASCAR specific.

"NASCAR inspired cars with Classics Mirage-style fake sponsors" That'd be pretty boss. I'll have to check out the G2 GoBots. Thanks for the responses.

Wasn't Alternator Smokescreen a Nascar-like Subaru?

Smokescreen was a rally car. A form of off road racing. No Subaru in NASCAR.

To be more specific Alternator Smokescreen was a 2003 Subaru Impreza WRC in it's debut markings for the 2003 Rallye Monte Carlo featuring the details for the number 08 car of Tommi Makinen and Kaj Lindstrom. Additionally the initial Binaltech release also featured the Number 07 car of Petter "Hollywood" Solberg & Phil Mills, the 2003 WRC Champions.

There's probably not enough interest to make licensing worth it. Don't forget not only do you have to get licensing from the sponsors, but Hasbro would probably have to get all the manufacturers (Ford, Dodge, Toyota and GM, not to mention NASCAR itself) to sign off too.
