Ever since I've gotten these guys, they've been bothering me.
When I transform them in to alt. mode, Skids' head keeps popping up and the hood does not close. Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

Yes, that's been a common problem on many other collector's Ice Cream Twins. I haven't heard much of anything that fixes the problem.. the quality control of ROTF figures has been rather bland. However someone might have a solution..

Make sure the little hood ornament tab is extended all the way up. If it's all the way extended, it will tab over the edge of the hood and hold it in place.

I thought that'd help, but it doesn't. It sucks to have a toy with a perfect alt. mode and THAT problem.

The crest tab securely locks the hood in place. You just need to pull it up and out. Then you push the hood down. Then you push the crest down and towards the hood, so it covers the small indent up.
It's important to get the crest up and out first, however. Because that will help it tab over the hood better.

That works. Awesome, thanks. I totally missed that in the instructions I guess...

Glad I could help.
You should look into Reprolabel's sticker sheet for the toy. Makes it so much better.
