I just got the Micron Legends version about two weeks ago, so I finally finished off that little group.

May as well show the fruits of my efforts .... so few people I know really care about TFs, let along army building.

Never mind the setup; I dismantled it a bit to take the pic. I left those TFs on Unicron because it's a real pain to get those guys up there securely.

Less of an army and more of a "fighting force", but I achieved my goal with it.

I can't tell, did you manage to get a bunch of Dead End Mini-Cons or are those Bug Microns from MB3?

Nice job collecting them by the way, I've been lazy scoring them and have about half that amount.

(Though I put the Bug General on Primus)

They're a bunch of Armada / Classics Dead Ends. I wanted at least one Bug Drone in there, but couldn't find any when I started collecting them.

I actually got Bug General in a blindpack at a con, which made me think that I should just get all the rest since the hard part was over. Unfortunately by then Micron Booster 3 was scarce.

Technically I could use one more since my Classics Unicron has no Dead End companion (it was lent to Energon Unicron here). But Dead Ends are ridiculous on ebay nowadays.

I can understand why one would want an army of seekers or sweeps but why an army of something that doesn't have clones or drones in the stories? You don't even have variants - they're mostly identical. Or have I missed something?

Yeah I guess my own definition of army building is different from most, not confined by story line or character such as seeker or sweeps, just something I love owning multiples of, and I know it's kinda sick.

Anyway, I haven't taken any group pictures for my seekers and sweeps yet, so let me post some with variants of few molds I particularly like then.
