Hi, guys! I'm new. *does the n00b handwave*

Anyway, I recently got a WST Red Alert toy on ebay. It was pretty darn cheap. Though, there's something a little odd with it..



It's missing the chest decal that the other WST Red Alerts on ebay appear to have.

As I am not a collector -- I just like having toys --, I'm unsure if this means anything. Is it a knockoff? An error? ..Are some just like that and my non-collector self just doesn't know any better?

Any help would be appreciated.

I just checked mine and it's got the Autobot symbol, FD logo and the words 'Fire Chief' all in the red part of the chest. Maybe a knock-off or a variant. I paid about £4 from ebay for mine a few years ago, did yours come with packaging?

It came with the transparent plastic thing that goes INSIDE packages, but not the actual package itself. It cost something like $5 on ebay, though; I only bought it because it was cheap, so I don't even care if it's a knockoff. XD

Does yours have any copyright/made-in stamp anywhere to see if at least THAT is the same?

I've packed it away again now but I'll update you tomorrow (it's 1am here). Knock-off or not it looks identical to mine apart from those symbols, enjoy a cool figure!

There's a copyright sign on the underside of the very front of the car, T'03C. That's all I can find.

Yup, mine has the same copyright stamp.

So.. Does this make it a varient of some sort..?

Augh, now my brain won't leave me alone until I get all these questions answered. XD

No idea. I can tell you that the symbols on mine are not a decal, they're tampographed or whatever the word is. Looks to me like you may have a variant but I'm no expert. Someone will be able to help you further I'm sure, just keep an eye on the thread.
