I keep wanting to re-purpose this guy as someone else, but I don't know who... until I do, I'll probably pass since the only shattered glass figure I liked was Optimus and I don't even have him.

I look forward to getting this guy.

Still on the fence about this one, I'm not a fan of shattered glass figures, but this is a great mold with a cool paint job. If I could take off the "ears" without damamging the figure I would re-name him something, but the "ears" just scream Cyclonus.

I hope the camera settings were simply off when they took this photo, he does like a tad bright. I would have liked him better with yellow wings, but I guess this is true to his appearance in the comics. I'm getting him. I think he's the best looking club exclusive they've ever done.

Powerglide, would be the closest, he has his face in some dome shaped helmety thing. I'm not to fussed with naming my figures, all I really care about is weather they look good, and as a whole shattered glass do not, with the odd exception. I hate shatered glass prime, he reminds me of G2, with his tacky fake snashed glass and poor graphics. Why do they feel by throwing some text on with a lame font and bright garish colour swill work, they just make things look cheap, like a boy racer on a budget. Shattered glass is a poor attemp to sell us repaints. The best repaint has got to be Alpha trion expecialy since effort was put in with the head sculpt, and the up and coming counter punch. And people whu go on about MP Grimlock becoming Tryptacon, please stop, you're gonna give them motivation to do so. I think people should just view this as a nice figure in an orange colour scheme

Doesn't look as shiney as before. Earlier pics made his red parts look metallic (almost like chrome) like the JTFA figures.

But this is still good.

See, to me it always made sense to have Shattered Glass Cyclouns be the same colors as Springer - let me explain. In the movie, Cyclouns was more or less Galvatron's right hand number two. For Ultra Magnus, I see Springer filling that roll.

Therefore, I thought it would have been cool if they flipped those two character's colors. This mold to me would look much more original in white/gray/greenish colors, and I think comic-wise, Springer would look bad-ass! in Cyclouns colors!

Were this something going to regular retail I would agree with your statement.

But seeing SG has been entirely thru the collectors club, and not hasbro proper, it's not exactly a big money maker.

I like it, but I wish it was less saturated.

Not exactly my cup of tea either.
But if he wasn't that pricey, I'd just might take it to reconsideration.
Although, I'd rather spend that kind of money on getting just plain old Henkei Cyclonus.

I'm still not a fan of Shattered Glass Cyclonus nor am I a fan of the whole Shattered Glass concept. There are a few figures from the line that I like such as Sideswipe and Megatron (gotta love the original cartoon head inspired design) and maybe Rodimus, but that's about it. These are terrible color choices for this mold in my opinion. I agree with a few of you that Springer's colors would've looked better. Just looks like a knock off toy to me in these colors. Hopefully it'll look better in person and hopefully it'll have nice packaging to make up for a lackluster figure.

Counterpunch on the other hand? And even the creative Dion/Cop-Tur set? Both of those I'm looking forward to. Too bad the hands got cheaped out on Counterpunch's mold though I understand the financial logic behind it and their concern about investing too much into the figure (wonder if TFCC has considered doing a subscription or pre-order service for Club exclusives to guarantee numbers). At least we're getting a cool head gimmick which is far more important in my book.

While I love the Shattered Glass universe and its oddly unique fiction (don't judge it just by the BotCon comic, folks, as the prose is worlds better), I have to say Cyclonus was pretty much at the bottom of my "SG characters I would want" list. He's both a lousy character and a lousy deco. Where's my bandanna-sporting Soundwave, or sunny Dirge, or mad-scientist Ratchet? :/

Although I will note that apparently the reason Cyclonus has Rodimus's deco is because the SGverse is supposed to be a mirror of the Classicsverse specifically.

I happen to like the brightness of the Cyclonus figure. I don't own any yet, but I'm a fan of the Shattered Glass concept and I'm looking forward to this being in my collection!

Everybody is making a huge funk over this guy lol. Don't like it? Don't buy it. Certainly don't fill everyone else's head with that negative garbage. I'm getting it, I dig SG and Cyclonus. It's one of my favorite molds. I'm pretty stoked for it. So there.
