I've just recently heard that the Japanese Transformers: Animated storyline will be a lot like the Movie counterpart. In addition, some of the characters' roles will be different from that of their American counterparts. Could this mean that new Animated figures, such as, Fugitive Waspinator, Ironhide, and Rodimus Minor will be canceled for good, or will they still be released in North America?

Takara does what Takara does and it's generally independent from Hasbro. Hasbro wants to get this figures out. Freeway Jazz and ES Soundwave have done fairly well, and Arcee and Cyb Ratchet are flying off the shelves. People still want Animated. This figures may get rolled up under 'Generations', but they should still be released.

Hopefully, we'll see confirmation at BotCon.
