Feeling bummed out.

My Classics Devastator came in the mail. That means I got all the Deluxes and Voyagers (sans VS. 2-pack). I felt for a moment a feeling of satisfaction, but then a little sad because there hasn't been any news about continuing the Classics Line after the movie stuff has died out. I'm just hoping that Hasbro realizes how great of a line this is and will continue.

But that idea seems thrown out because of the upcoming Heroes series. And I dont think Hasbro could make 4 lines at the same time (Heroes, Alternators if continued, Universe, and Classics) . I'd be more than psyched if the Classics designs become the Heroes Designs. But I heard from another thread that Prime might be a fire truck again, so there goes that idea out the window too.

Though the idea of TF Universe getting replaced by Classics tickles my fancy.

I have a feeling that Classics isn't coming back, which is a shame because they were really good figures. If Heroes is remotely similar in quality and scale I'll be happy though.

Also I don't mind the idea of Prime being a fire truck again. Even though he isn't a traditional Prime, I happen to think he is one of the best Prime's made and really I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about him.

I agree, I would like to see Classics kind of roll into Heroes though and really it would kind of be a smart decision on Hasbro's behalf. They could repaint and repackage exisiting molds which is something Hasbro does anyways.

I've never been pleased with the Universe line, as I haven't liked many of the repaints. Personally, I'd be happy with Alts and Classics.

But that's just me!

Classics all the way.
There's so many existing character designs they could revamp to snag a new generation of kiddies.

And if anyone at Hasbro / Takara are paying attention, HIRE this freaking guy already!

He's a genius who can only bring good things:

WOW! There's a Wheelie figure I'd actually buy! And his others look pretty good too! Too bad they probably cost a fortune. :-(

I really hope classics continues, or becomes the Heroes line. It's one of the best so far.

Well, seeing as Counterpunch put it, the heroes line looks like "training bra Transformers", I can focus more on G1s that I need, like a mint and complete Scorponok, which I JUST bought tonight! I just need a couple small parts for him.

Perhaps Trypticon as well. Mabey Star Convoy, not because I really want him, but his price is so good now, and I just KNOW that s*** will go up when I do decide I want him.

After these, I am going to take a long break from buying any more TFs, because, honestly, I have almost every one I want. Kind of sad, but I am not a completist. I mean, having thought about it long and hard, the ONLY TFs on the horizon I even give a damn about are Leader Prime, leader Megatron, and Voyager Starscream from the movie...THAT's IT. I buy what I like, nothing more...okay, except for those damned protofoms. I have made some mistakes in the past! :P

Of course, this would change instantly if they released a MP Galvatron/Hotrod/Rodimus Prime, or...reissue Scorponok/Black Zarak. But I doubt any of that will happen...

But THAT would kick some serious @$$ and you all know it.

Holy cow! I didn't know he was doing Octane

Can't wait to see it finished!

Are those figures for sale? It looks like they are or will be mass producing them for sale judging from the pictures and those boxes.

I heard about this guy, but had never seen his work.
Wow, I'd actually buy Wheelie if he was like that. Does this guy sell the TF's?

The classics are what brought me back to Transformers and into the movie toys. Sorry to see they're so short lived. I still need to wrangle a Megatron and Constructicon pack.
