Cybertron Sideways

I just picked up Cybertron Sideways and have to say I love the mold. Both modes look fantastic not to mention the various configurations you can have his robot mode in. Anybody else have him and feel the same way?

Hell yeah! I have the pink Target-exclusive Ratbat repaint of the mold, and I love it. I've always wanted to get Cybertron Sideways, but it's just too expensive. I should have bought it years ago. Those repaints from Botcon '09 were sweet, too.

How much does he go for these days?

I love the mold. I remember back in 06 when I went crazy trying to find one, I eventually got him on a Black Friday sale at TRU. I was so satisfied when I finally found one. I like Universe Ratbat too, and the other repaints of the mold. He's easily the best from Cybertron.

About $20 shipped for the US version and about $30 shipped for the Glaxy version, not too bad for a figure that is a few years old.

I love the mold.

I've got Sideways, Ratbat, Scourge, and Noisemaze Production Type. I've just got to get a set of Sweeps yet.

I'm almost tempted to trade you one set of sweeps for your Noisemaze production Type.

Almost

After this thread, I just bought three sweeps from eBay. Ended up running me $230, which is one of the lowest prices I've seen in recent months. Two (Sweep 2 and Sweep 7) still bagged and one loose (the guy has a Sweep 6 card).

Also, you will have to pry NMPT from my cold dead hands. ;-)

Would whomever takes it get to take the monocle along with it?

Used/open, maybe, but good luck finding a sealed one for less than $30-$40 shipped.

Yes.

With great power though...

Sorry to say this but I got him in Korea where GF has been recently rereleased. I paid £8 ($13) for it sealed. The shop I got it in also had Metroplex, Blurr/Buzzsaw and Crosswise.

Yes, but which item is needed for the cockney accent and the bushy white mustache?

lol, the monacle comes with great responsibility?

I was going to say, I didn't know Noisemaze/Sideways was that hard to come by. I recall finding him in store fairly easily back in the day.

You know, lots of online retailers are selling the Korean releases right now. I bet anyone who wants a Noisemaze can find one relatively cheaply. I just got an MISB GF Sonic Bomber for like $35 from BBTS. THAT'S a steal! Now the long wait for the loot.

I was very happy to get Cybertron Sideways... I got him on one of my many TF hunting/buying excursions, because there was no way he'd ever show up near where I live... Still one of my favourites of the line, and still regretting not getting the Ratbat version in that 2-pack...

Yeah, I preordered a korean Sonic Bomber from TFsource... the waiting is killer...

Unfortunately, I don't live in Korea. I could probably order a Korean one online, but I doubt I could get it delivered for $20 including S/H.

This is probably as cheap as you'll get it for:

Not necessarily, always shop around. Robotkingdom.com may have it for cheaper, or perhaps smaller retailers like etoysjapan.com. $23 is not bad, but you may find it for less if you check out other places too.

The Korean one is $30 shipped from BBTS with the cheapest shipping option. The Hasbro version is listed at $37.99 and is out of stock.

RobotKingdom and etoysJapan don't appear to even carry it. At least, I couldn't find it on either site.

As I said, $30 minimum to get one in the U.S.

If you want I could keep my eyes open for another. Not sure about the shipping cost though.

Oh, sorry about that. I assumed they'd carry it without actually checking. :-(

I guess you don't order from BBTS very often. I always have a big Pile Of Loot, so the shipping for smaller items becomes minimal.
