The Energon Pub

Well, The local Target in Alpharetta Ga. put out the movie toys early and I scored! Oddly they had no deluxe figures save the protoforms, No fab figures either (those are the empty pegs in the pics). I got Leader Class Prime, Voyager Starscream and Ironhide (I got the only ones), all first series Robot heroes, and all the real gear figures.

I'm still hoping to see something other than the proto's soon. The Walmarts near me are just now getting around to putting up the aisle arch displays, although no figures yet. Target, Toys R Us, and everyone else haven't done much except compact the Transformers area down to about 2 or 3 peg hooks and most of that is left over Cybertron stuff. Space is pretty limited due to the overflow of Spider-Man 3 toys. Looks like they'll ride out that June 2 street date as long as they can. Nice display though.

All Target here has is ****' Spider-Man 3 & Pirates of the Carribeian crap.

I noticed all the Targets near me have recently pulled every Transformer related product off the shelf, including Classics and Cybertron. There are blank peg hooks where the product used to go/will be going.

Ditto. I just got back from mine, there's literally no Transformers there except the clearanced-down LoC four-pack and a couple SWTFs. Oh well, I'm mostly broke anyways 'til next payday... damn my sweet tooth for eating into my toy money. At least I have enough left to try to find Bumblebee vs Barricade come Saturday.

Is Bumblebee versus Barricade a store exclusive? I want to say someone reported a link to another forum stating it would be but that might not be right. So far the only one that I know for sure is Robo Vision Prime at Target.

So, will I be the only one waiting at the doors at the local Target saturday morning?
