It's a good day for anyone who ordered Gentei Dark Skyfire!! You'll be getting your orders soon...

I know that the ever reliable RealDevastator has already brought up this topic but I just received my order of 5 Gentei Dark Skyfires (not all for me of course) from ToyHobbyMarket today in perfect time for my birthday this weekend.

After worrying that 'late March' would in fact be early April (with the time it's taking for them to announce Encore Predaking and Sixshot I definitely wasn't expecting anything for another couple of weeks).

The figure looks badass in black and purple, much better than the originally planned grey paint scheme.

The only question now is can I wait until my birthday on Monday (a holiday here in Tokyo) to open him?

What do you think should be the next Universe/Classics repaint?

The new Universe hasn't really received the Exclusive treatment other than Cyclonus intro Strafe, Hot Shot into Dion, and SS into Punch/Counterpunch.

I think it's Hound's turn.

I'd love to see Universe Legend Jazz repainted into Stepper (Ricochet). Then after, that reprolabels can work their magic on it like they did with Jazz.

I got mine today. Robotkingdom shipping = fast.

So, the figure is nice, striking at a distance, less so up close.

There are lots of little QC issues floating about on him and the black plastic is just a bit soft (it's strange).

The face detailing is really nice. The gold accents are on point.

If you're an exclusive collector like me, he's kind of mid-tier. Worth it for a price around $60, but much higher and you're really not getting the bang for your buck.

Sweet, if you got yours already, I should have mine today or tomorrow then. I'm just glad to get it before I leave for Miami. Did you get yours sent to work or home CP?
