I recently bought a E-Hobby Galvatron II, the voice box that plays his sounds his in Japanese of course, but I'm wondering how hard it would be to take apart a G1 Galvatron and if there is a voice box inside replace it with the new E-Hobby one, has anyone ever attempted this?

If it was my toy I would so rip out and destroy the Japanese voice box even if I didn't have a replacement. but then again I don't care about the value of my collection I buy that I like and then modify it to my personal tastes. If a cared about the value, I wouldn't open the thing in the first place.

Just pull the battery out and make the pew-pew noise with your mouth. There is no english talking Galvatron to swap the chip with. Don't do anything foolish or the kittens get it!
