e-hobby Japan has just open the pre-order page for the Transformers Alternity GTR Ultra Magnus version Brilliant White Pearl.

This is the repaint version of Transformers Alternity Convoy, and this item will be sold exclusively in upcoming TF China Carnival. TF China Carnival to be held in Shanghai China in the month of July 2010. In Japan, this toy will be exclusive to e-hobby Japan.

It looks really cool.

Too bad I won't get it though, because I'm saving up for Warbot Defender and other Transformers first.

Just recently I ordered Ghost Henkei Starscream form Tfsource and with shipping and all, has put me back with a 100 bucks. Hopefully I can get it through customs without paying extra taxes.

But Magnus isn't supposed to be white. He's red and blue with a bit of white.

I saw the news article header on my google feed and thought "Yay, a new Alternity figure" but about 0.1ms after telling my finger to click the link I realised what I was likely to see.... and I was right. Its a white Optimus.

I think it is a great mold, but I really don't think it warrants a repaint. It is only natural though. Completely not surprised.

4th paint scheme. Takara is using this mold to its fullest.

Red/Blue Prime
Silver Prime
Nemesis (Black) Prime
Ultra Magnus (white) Prime

Looks like all bases are covered.

Just in time, I'm Reprolabel upgrading the silver Convoy into Jazz as soon as the stickers get here. Now I get an actual Magnus out of the deal! Just hope it doesn't go for too much in the West.

From now on whenever a new Prime mold is released they should just sell it in a Red/Black/White three pack.

I saw the headline and said to myself, "Really, that could be cool."

THen I saw the repaint and thought, "I can't believe I didn't see this coming! I'm a moron!"

Good thing I'm not interested in this, because it's an exclusive.

The white repaint isn't doing much for me. It's great for diehard Ultra Magnus fans, though.

Not no, but hell no. That looks awful. And as far as the redecos of this mold go, after we get the clear, don't forget we'll get an armor upgrade, weapons set, and then a exclusive and overpriced purple redeco.

Seriously I love white Prime repaints

I'm still looking for Ultra Magnus from the BIAB 2-pack from like 6 years ago. Canada didn't get them

Aw, dude, if I had an extra it'd be yours! When I noticed the arms were assembled backwards I went back to Kohl's to get another one to fix but they were gone. At the time I didn't mod unless I have an unmodded one as a spare (Animated destroyed that habit!) Seriously, a Kohl's exclusive Transformer set?

If I find one at a 'con this summer, I'll send it your way.
