Hey guys,
My Youtube subscriptions page showed a new video review by Peaugh. He seems to have gotten a hold of some of the new Powercore combiners. Specificly Bombshock and the Combaticons.

Still LAME!!! They will probably still try and get $30 or $40 out this set I bet, and they might be worth $15 at most...

I don't see too much difference between these guys and the Energon Combiners. Kneww articulation? Check. No elbows? Check. (Although Smoulder looks like he might have elbows just because of how he works).
But they're much cheaper than the Energon combiners, so that's a plus for those who like 'em. So far I'm not seeing anything I like tho.

I somehow get the feeling that these could be decent for the price, and are definatly kid friendly. If/when these hit tv commercials, my sons will be all about them.

Yeah, but no worse than the energon limbs before FansProject. I've gotten used to them.

It's obvious that Hasbro is trying to save money. The drone idea in my opinion is LAME. The combiner modes look like crap. The makers need to take note of these fan groups and what they are doing. I can see Fans Project coming out with some add ons for this new line that will put Hasbro to shame.

Not really. The Fan groups are by the Collector, for the Collector. These toys are by a toy maker, for kids. Sometimes it amazes me that Hasbro even listens to us at all considering how most collectors treat them.

Yeah. I'm really NOT impressed with the Power Core Combiners so far, especially after the detail of the figures in the ROTF line. Some of the deluxes in that line were just awesome (looking at you Lockdown.) Even the SCOUTS had better transformations than these do. To me these are just hasbro trying to sell people a lower quality product hidden behind a gimmick

They could make better figures or not make them at all 
I was excited when we first heard about these coming out, and now that I see them, they are hideous!.

maybe fan projects wont have to make an add on set for this combiner if there add on set for energon bruticus can combine with this series teh nthey can save some money & time & only make an add on kit for pcc superion but any other way it may or may not happen fans projects would have to make 4 new bots for these combiners if thats the case combiners have crappy looking limbs but nnot as bad as enrgon combiners i can deal with these combiners with out an add on kit but energon differnt situation.
ill still buy tehm if fp decides to make kit for this seriesi buy it if not i can deal with it

Oh by Primus. Let's all drop the thought train that if something isn't 100% perfect, then some 3rd party will make it better. Don't like it, don't buy it. If you buy something with the sheer hope that FP will make something for it, then you're sending the wrong message to Hasbro.
IMO of course, but there are far better and cooler things that FP, ImpToys, etc can do instead of wasting time on the PCC figures.

I like the concept of drones turning into limbs for a super mode but the execution here is lacking - those limbs look terrible. One can understand it if it doesn't look too flash because it needs to have a bot mode and a limb mode but these don't, they just go from being a vehicle to an arm or whatever and they do it poorly.
