For me:

1. Takara Transmetal Megs. Love me some bronze & shiny purple chrome dinosaur with rollerblades & VTOL thrusters.

2. ROTF Deadlift (AKA Spoons). His transformation is interesting; I like his face sculpt a lot; paint scheme is better to me than Dirt Boss; love the homage to GoBots Spoons... I think it's the bio (transporting dead bodies to the smelting pool) that puts him over the top for me.

Or maybe Cyb. Armorhide. Love that blocky little body (& makes a perfect Classics Pipes stand-in if you have Botcon Huffer).

3. Classics Seekers (9: all 6 Henkei, Acid Storm, 2 custom-painted Rainmakers), Voyager Classics Prime (5: Classics, Henkei, Ultra Magnus, Nemesis, Shattered Glass), Cyb. Sideways mold (5: Universe Ratbat, Botcon 09 Scourge + 3 Sweeps).

4. Masterpiece Megs. Yes, I know he's fiddly, skinny legs, especially compared to MP Prime... but Megs is my favorite character. I've waited 25 years for a toon-accurate looking G1 Megs, and he's it!

Maybe Botcon 06 Darksyde Megs (since he cost a pretty penny).

probably Grimlock, especially the Masterpiece figure. BW Tigerhawk comes to mind as well. TM2 Megatron (the red dragon) looked great on the show, but the figure was fail.

(2) What's your favorite scout-class TF & why?

I don't really buy many Scout class figures, I usually buy Deluxes or larger. Of the Scouts I've seen lately, Scalpel was pretty nifty.

(3) What TF mold do you own multiples of (how many, which ones)?

Classics Prime mold, 2: regular & Shattered Glass
Cybertron HotShot mold, 2: regular & SG Goldbug
Classics Seeker mold, 9 (oh god, i had to count them up, and now i'm ashamed): Classics SS, Classics Ramjet, Classics 2pk Skywarp, Henkei Thundercracker, Henkei Dirge, Henkei Thrust, Universe Starscream, Universe Acid Storm, Henkei Ghost Starscream
BW TM Cheetor, regular, plus the Japanese Ravage remold.

(1) Masterpiece Grimlock. He is perfect! :KREMZEEK:

(2) RoTF Ransack, in fact it is the only scout class I own, and the only RoTF figure too. Biplane transformer? Brilliant!

(3) In my classics collection, A lot! Ironhide+Ratchet, Sunstreaker+Sideswipe, Bumblebee+Cliffjumper, Prime+Ultra Magnus, Starscream+Thundercracker+Coneheads [No Skywarp :sad:

], Drag Strip+Mirage, and I have Masterpiece Skywarp and Starscream. G1? Oi, lots.

(4) That is a very tough call. I think MP Skywarp would win, but City Commander would be a very close second, I would display him too if I could.

Dino. T-Rex or Raptor alt modes are very cool.

Cybertron Scattershot. He's well armed, he has a gun that's a gun, not a spring loaded missile launcher, and Well he's awesome. I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't repainted him into anything else.

Also Energon Skyblast is an awesome Scout sized mol.d Love the translucent red wingblades.

(3) What TF mold do you own multiples of (how many, which ones)?
Armada Super-Con a.k.a Bendy Prime 4 Armada, Nemesis, Magnus, Cybertron
Energon Combiner Helicoppter Limbs also 4. 2 from Energon, 2 from ROTF Superion.

Encore 01 Convoy. Followed by Cybertron Dark Cybertron (he just looks menacing in robot mode)

Well, there's lots more than bological to "non vehicle" alt mode... and a lot of the G1 animal modes could be foreseen as vehicles (the Dinobots and Insecticons have 'cockpits' for example). But otherwise I'd have to say Masterpiece Grimlock.

Oooh, rough. I like several of them, including:
Energon Treadshot and Windrazor (EXCEPT in their roles as combiner limbs, they're the weakest as limbs)
Cybertron Armorhide
Real Gear Longview
RotF Scattorshot, Breakdown, and Skystalker

Most of them I like for the same reasons - great articulation for size class, good transformation (or quick transform that doesn't sacrifice articulation), nice looking robot mode, and something 'extra'.
For Treadshot and Windrazor, it's because they were the first Scout Class I ever got, and I was amazed at the articulation for such small figures (this was about the time I was getting back into TFs after 16-17 years or so).
For Armorhide, it was his stocky build and his simply hilarious Cyber-key power.
Longview's superheroic build and 'X-Men Cyclops' head.
Scattorshot, Breakdown, and Skystalker for managing to bridge both the Movie and Classics aesthetics (IMHO, at least).

Classics Starscream (4 regular official repaints, Ramjet and an unofficial repaint (I made him Dirge), and a currently disassembled Starscream being repainted into Thundercracker)
Titanium WWI Thundercracker (Him and Thrust)
Cl/U Sunstreaker AND Sideswipe (both)
Cl/U Prowl (Silverstreak and Smokescreen, plus a fourth repainted red as Overdrive from the Omnibots)
Cl/U Mirage (plus Fracture, and one heavily modified as Devcon)
Cybertron Legends figures (I've lost count of how many legends and how many repaints of each.)
Energon Arcee (Same, I've lost count)
Cybertron Armorhide (plus his black repaint from the movie line)
Cybertron Clocker (I don't own Clocker himself, but I do own Cybertron Swerve and the blue movie repaint)

And many more...

1. Transmetal Megs. Completely skipped BW, so I don't own him, but if I had to choose one, it'd be him.

2. Dune Runner. Even for a scout, he's impressively well-designed and detailed. Plus, I've always had a thing for military vehicles.

3. If repaints and "special edition" versions can be considered multiples of a mold, then it would be:

4. My MP Takara G1 Starscream. If making a G1 animation-accurate TF is difficult, making a G1 animation-accurate TF of a seeker is doubly difficult. As far as I'm concerned, MP Starscream is by far the best rendition of this character as a figure. Superbly detailed, as articulate as I can personally expect from such a detailed toy, and it even comes with the option of showing him with his signature smirk!

Hip kibble notwithstanding, the only G1 Screamer that's more accurate than MP Screamer would be the non-transforming Revoltech one. Then again, what's a Transformer that can't transform?

1 - Tigerhawk. Anything that has a feline/Wolf alt mode usually gets a thumbs up from me, though.

2 - G1 Gears. No idea, just like the little guy. In this day and age, though, he's a legends class
figure. So for basics, I'd have to say ROTF Skystalker is the guy to beat. Looks great in both modes
and can hitch a ride for deep territory reconnaissance via Mindwipe.

3 - I have many of the same molds, but the 2 sets I have the most of are the G1 seekers:

Starscream Encore
Starscream TF Collection
Starscream Ghost E-hobby
Starscream Death E-hobby
Thrust E-Hobby
Skywarp E-hobby
Skywarp Encore
Thundercracker E-hobby

4 - God Fireconvoy (TRU clear version) - Imposing, poseable, and a eyecather. Plus, numerous display possiblities between the many modes of Optimus and then there's Magnus. Can't lose with this one.

TORCA. Half whale, half elephant. Doesn't get any better than that.

Probably Energon Arcee. It won the coin toss between it and BW Alligator Megs (the only two I have--I should have Bat Prime somewhere around here).

(3) What TF mold do you own multiples of (how many, which ones)?
Unless you count Classics Starscream and Ramjet as the same mold, then-surprisingly-none!

I do quite like the Concept Camaro mold, though, so I'd probably snag the Cliffjumper, or another Bee to repaint, if one shows up for the right price. (Anyone else notice how the price of the Evolution of Bumblebee 2-pack has recently gone up dramatically on eBay?)

(4) If you ever had to limit what you could display, what TF is at the top of your list as your MUST-display piece?
No question--Optimus Primal from the ToysRUs Exclusive 2-pack with Megatron.

ROTF Prime and Classics Nemesis Prime are close contenders, but the big Boss-Monkey takes the cake. He's the perfect balance between a TF that is screen accurate without sacrificing its playability as a toy.

1. I honestly don't like "biological" alt modes, but I would pick Sky-Byte. He is a robot Shark, so how cool is that.

2. I am not a huge fan of Scouts, but Ransack is a good choice. He is a good, original idea that turned into a good figure.

3. I have too many Movie Ironhides. 07, 07 Premium, 07 Offroad, and RoTF Recon Ironhide. Classics Seekers mold too.

4. Masterpiece Seeker mold. Don't care which one-I would prefer it to be a Takara though.

Red Dragon Megatron. I love dragons, this is a great one!

The bi-plane who's name I never remember. Crazily complex transformation for the size.

- 2 Armada Unicrons cos I was given one that has many parts missing. Looks great in planet mode but I decided to buy a complete one for robot mode.
- 2 07 delux Bees cos I bought the double pack of voyager Prime and delux Bee for £5 just for Prime.
- 2 MP Seekers cos Skywarp was cheap at Argos.

(4) If you ever had to limit what you could display, what TF is at the top of your list as your MUST-display piece?
Whatever figure I'd just kitbashed.

1. G1 Predacons Divebomb. He is just a great figure.

2. I don't own anything smaller than Deluxe class since G1.

3. The only mold I have 3 or more of is the G1 Seekers (Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Ramjet, Thrust, and Dirge).

4. G1 Megatron and G1 Prime.

Is Booster X10 (aka Classics Laserbeak) scout class? If so him as pretty all of my collection is G1/Classics/Universe.

G1 Seeker: 8, Classics Seeker: 8, WST Seeker: 10 (Spotting a pattern!?)

1.) G1 Victory Leo- along these lines I also like Greatshot, Sixshot, Lione, Snarl, BW Silverbolt, and BW Tigerhawk, and Universe Razorclaw to name a few.

2.) E-Divebomb -- fabulous in both modes with cool weapons. Could also be included in the favorite animal alt modes too.

3.) I think an easier question to answer might be what TF molds do you NOT own multiples of? If they repaint it, I will buy...assuming it is a cool mold, and a good repaint. Most (but not all) repaints have an homage in mind, so they are usually more worthy of buying than the original.

4.) Basically you are saying what is my favorite Transformer...

2. Scalpel because he's so unique and fun. I probably have one that's more my favorite but he came to my mind first.

3. Tough question since I own all of the Hasbro US released Transformers and a fair share of the Japanese and European exclusives as well. Which mold has been repainted the most?

4. It's a toss up depending on space and location between G1 Soundwave, G1 Optimus Prime, Armada Unicron, and G1 Fortress Maximus. One of those guys would be at the top of my list.
