My wife wondered why I don't narrow my collection down to around 5. Haha I laughed scornfully. I only have about 425+ TF's and to get ride of 420 is huge! Yet, I was forced to ponder such a thought- If I could only have 5, what(who) whould they be... This question may go unanswered, but for now- Masterpiece UM, Masterpiece Grimlock, Alternators Wheeljack, G1 Jetfire (my fav as a kid), and last but not least... I can't decide.

So what about you? What 5 TF's would you choose?

5 would be tough, but I would choose MP Prime, MP Grimlock, Alt Jazz, G1 Skyfire and G1 Computron(so I get a cheat bonus!).

City Commander, MP Skywarp, Cybertron Primus, Armada Unicron and Cybertron Metroplex would make up my 10!

Alternators Jazz, interesting. City Commander is a forsure even though it's an add on! I also feel MP Thundercracker could make the cut.

Not really a rad choice. Just gotta pick the best version of my favorite characters. I'll also include the add-ons I have for them. If there's only 5 choices, they may as well be complete!

MP Prime.

MP Megatron (with extra accessories).

MP Grimlock (with iGear's crown).

Alternators Rodimus (with Kiss Player's accessories).

Energon Galvatron (With G1 Galvy reissue's Matrix).

City Commander and MP3 Soundwave would be on the list if there was more room.

True, really tough to pick. For the figures I have, I would go for MP Skywarp, alternator Jaguar Ravage, ROTF leader Prime, classics Mirage, and classics Hot Rod (he is now so hard and expensive to get one). But still, very difficult to pick.

Funny you should post this..I actually JUST did this.

The ones I kept were:

G1 Prime

Masterpiece Prime

G1 bumblebee

G1 Gears

G1 Skywarp


The rest of my collection went to a playboy bunny who bought them for her brother's Bday (same age as me, 33). It was rather serendipitous as I found out the brother was in the room with me when I was getting radiation therapy a few years back!

Did I mention the sister was extremely awesome..and extremely hot? Meee Owe!

Damn this is hard ...

It would definitely consist of my MP & Alts.

I'd limit it to only one of each mold, so multicolored Primes & seekers are out.

Obvious ones are:

1: MP Prime
2: MP Megatron
3: MP Grimlock

My Seeker pick would be:
4: MP Skywarp

Cutting down alts is tough I'd have to go with :
5: My customized Prowl from BT Red Alert. (Head swap and reprolabels)

He does have the reprolabels and the extra shoulder launcher if that helps!

To tell the truth, there is no way I could decide the answer to this. It would be like Peter Griffin trying to decide between those two Earnest movies at the video store where he is reduced to helpless blubbering because the store is closing and he can't make up his mind.

Though I have been married for 22 years, it still amazes me how a woman can actually have the gall to make such a suggestion to a man, and firmly underscores how UNIMPORTANT anything that makes us happy is to them. Usually it's brought down to a question of "if you really loved me you wouldn't think twice about giving _______ up."

all4 molds of mp and either city commander or henkei rodimus after the trailer comes in.

In no particular order:

1) MP OP

The single common factor in my choices is that they are my favourite versions of the characters.

G1 dinobots - when I started collecting I was going to stop once I got all 5, they also have the most sentimental value.

Be it G1, G2, Classics, Animated or whatever line has at least those 5.
ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL

Mine would be whittled down to:

4. Alternators Grimlock
5. Masterpiece Megatron -> I don't actually own him, but if I was getting rid of everything else, I'd find the money to round out this collection to even out the 'sides'.

you read my mind its like when we attend conventions they go to a tf intervention program to help us with our addiction too funny!!

3)mp seekers (theyre one team)
4)mp grimlock
5)mp voltron (hes my favorite)

If I had to choose from my collection, 1) Artfire 2) Minerva 3) Black Zarak 4) Universe Drench and 5)Dai Atlas. These would be the most difficult to replace!

scorponok- my fave Christmas gift as a kid
optimus prime- can't not have optimus
and I guess ............ Fortess Maximus.
