Mindwipe availability?

Why hasn't Wal-Mart received any Mindwipe (or Defender OP for that matter) figures yet? It almost seems like they have shown up exclusively at Target according to the sightings forum. Any ideas why?

I got mine at Target. I think I saw a couple at Wal-Mart recently, so they might be showing up now.

Hasbro distribution network sucks. We have Mindwipe and Defender OP in NZ, but No Bludgeon

or Jungle Attack Ironhide. I got rung by Hasbro NZ this morning to be told that we are not getting Skystalker in NZ either.

Yeah I hear you there, the Wal-Mart I usually check only has several Demolishor figures for their voyagers and I know they have been sitting there since last summer.
Strangely enough their deluxes and scout figures are put out fairly often.
I did buy Bludgeon from there but that was back in January.

I found Mindwipe in a Walmart more than a month ago but they finally got Skystalker a few days ago. It's a perfect storm: Hasbro sucks at distribution, Walmart sucks at everything, period!

The problem with Wal Mart is if their shelves are already full, they aren't going to put new stock out. I've seen a few Mindwipes at Wal Mart, but the majority I've seen at Target.

You think Wally World is bad? You should see the selection at K-Mart. You're lucky if you see more than five on a shelf at once....
Wish I had a Target in the area.

Oh yeah. K-Mart is where toys get shelved to die. If you want something that's sold out everywhere else from like, Beast Wars, try K-Mart, becuase they'll probably have one. Want something new, forget it, becuase K-MArt never restocks. They put toys on the shelf and then wait for the toys to solidify into new parts of said shelf. Like that slime the Aliens secret.

The only one I've seen was on clearance. And it was missing the head. Other than that, it was a fine figure, except hte Takara one is leagues better.

Hah, I've actually found newer and rare figures at K-Mart. In fact, no one carried Universe Legends Brawn or ROTF Mindwipe and I found them both at the local K-Mart.
In fact, they had Classics Grimlock and Mirage looooong before anyone around here did. I even found Cybertron Downshift there too.

Hmm, yeah, the distribution is a little strange for sure. I still haven't seen Defender OP or Mindwipe at Wal-Mart, but my Target has 3 each. Also, I still haven't seen any Bludgeons other than the one I found and bought a month ago!

I'm not sure this is strange. I think it's intended. With each new wave or class, each store gets first dibs.
TRU got Animated Arcee and Ratchet.
Target got the ROTF Scouts first, then Wal-Mart, and now the Voyagers, (which K-Mart also received), and then Wal-Mart.
Perhaps Hasbro is giving Wal-Mart's competition a slight advantage. They did with Cybertron. TRU got the figures before anyone else did.

Same here as everyone else: Mindwipes galore at Target, nothing new at walmart past their exclusives, and K-mart is a laughing stock. the only new voyager at Walmart was a jungle Ironhide(no Bludgeon) and the Deluxes stopped after the first wave of NEST+Ratchet for some reason.
Target has all the new Voyagers and Scouts, but nothing in the Deluxe range except for Ravage and Mudflap.
K-mart got their exclusive Starscream, but nothing else any newer than ROTF Swerve.

I got mine at Target, and they had a bunch of them that day.
Still haven't seen it at Walmart at all.

I may have to check K-Mart just see what they have. Seriously they do suck at stocking merchandise and not just toys but everything in general.
I think last time I was there, I had checked their elec. dept. and they still had GBA games in stock.

Makes me wonder how long K-mart stores will be around if they keep that up.

I can't hate K-mart, it's where I got my DS when everywhere else was sold out.

i used to have two K-mart stores where I live, now I have to drive for an hour just to get to the nearest one. Between them and Shopko I don't know how they stay in business.

Its the complete opposite over here in Perth, Australia. Kmart has shelves stacked full of Mindwipes and Defender Ops. Target has stuff all.

I got the last one at my Walmart, and haven't seen any anywhere since. Still on the lookout for Skystalker.
I've seen plenty of his wavemate, Defender Optimus, so I guess Mindwipe is just selling well.

I haven't noticed how hard it is to find Skystalker. Now that I think about it I've only seen him once.

I found Skystalker at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. I bought the only one they had. They had also put out those new two-pack Scout figures too.

I haven't even seen a Skystalker yet, but I've been able to find all of the other figures from that wave so far.

I haven't been able to find anything at Walmarts except what I find on clearance. Target seems to be getting the edge around here for me. The better selection of Transformers I do find at Walmart tends to be a state away in Walmart super centers.
I rarely check K-Mart. Maybe tomorrow I'll check K-Mart to see what they might have.
