Looks like a nice figure, but just doesn't sell me on the idea of spending close to $100 on it.

And the review...irritating. Egads...

Okay, to be honest. At first I wasn't so fond of this whole idea. But seeing this review, has made me change my mind. It's a very nice figure. But 100 bucks is a little too much at the moment.
For now, I would rather spend my money on I-Gear Prime and Fansproject Springer.

Half the fun of getting new figures is to check out the transformation and the details of the figure. Thanks to reviews like this we can save ourselves a ton of cash! Yay!

That was the part I was most interested in seeing. I'm still a fan of this figure, it's in transit to me right now.

Thanks for the review. I am glad to hear that the joints are tight and the production of this figure was successful. The paint applications look great. I am happy that I preordered it.

In robot mode he's around the same hieght as Voyager Classics OP. In alt mode with the rear section attached probably around an Ultra.

Matrix...doesn't come out? What? I'm pretty certain it's designed to come out. Also, yeah, the visor doohickey. I'll figure it out myself next week when mine gets here along with Warbot. This review kinda stinks. TF Source has spoiled me with theirs. ;)

I agree..The figure looks really neat with some great nods to other manifestations of OP but the price point...Yikes..Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too rich for my blood..

And I second the horrible review..The guy sounds a little nervous...

I find it interesting that so many people seem to be balking at the price point. This is fairly large figure especially for a third-party, and it's not that much more than Fansproject stuff or some of the Deluxe Takara exclusives. Only issue I can see is this being MMC first offering, so the quality will be in question. I took the chance, guess I'll know on Wednesday when it shows up on my doorstep.

I dunno...I get it. I'm uaully not too excited to drop $100 bucks or so for a fig unless it's a Masterpiece. I still do more often than I maybe should, and I get that these guys pretty much have to charge what they do, but I understand the balks. That's a lot of cash... But no one ever said it was an affordable hobby. In fact, many have warned new collecters that it's not at all cheap.

I saw a pic of it next to G1 Prime and in Train mode, it's looks to be the same size as G1 Prime's trailer if that helps you any

I DO DECLARE, now that this figure has arrived at BBTS, I think I will ship my loot! I'm really impressed with this figure, larger than I expected which is nice! Can't wait to see Starscr...

First off I have to admit the review was ok, not the greatest, It be nice if he figured how the figure was to transform easier. I have the figure and it is a very nice piece. I have found a little easier way to transform the arms. The joints are extremely tight, tighter than some of the recent hasbro figures.

He also did not attach the rocket boosters to the back exactly right, the red flap, top of the train flips up and the 2 boosters post in to it and on to the back as well, need to mess with it a little but does line up and locks them in tightly, second the matrix does come out, but it is the whole blue light piece that the matrix is attached to. 3rd im still trying to figure out how to solid attach the visor part as it does have a tendency to pop off.

I will warn do be careful of the lance and it is very thin at the end and may break easily.

Got mine today...it's awesome. The quality is very nice. Although I am a little nervous about the arms potentially being weak point due to the design as well as a couple details that you'll want to be careful with. But the thing is beautiful and I'm quite happy to have got him...other than mine seems to be missing the lance, but I'm pretty well confident BBTS will correct that. Oh, and despite what the review says, the Matrix comes out...

*edit: sorry, walked away from the PC after hitting submit and see that another post has been made mentioning the matrix. The blue piece did come off with it on mine at first, too, but the matrix comes out of that as well. Once you take it out once, it comes out either from there.

Bummer number two I'm noticing now, though....I see some funky yellowish color on the a part of the trailer. It's not glaring or too big, but under the right light it's definitely there and noticeable. Between that and the lance, maybe I should just ask to have the whole thing swapped out.
