I recently purchased a G1 ravage aswell as a few other cassettes, Iam not sure if this is an american release g1 ravage or possibly a knock off or diaclone. he has no rub sign and came with a cassette case. Anyone know what he could be? (he does have weapons, there just not pictured).

Welcome to the site!
I'm moving this to the toys general forum where someone can answer your question.

I believe it is a KO (knock off), but I am not too sure....

could be a KO, since right off the bat I noticed three things that I notice that don't jive with my Ravage:
1, Lacking the "Metal Position" text near the hinge for the tail
2, The "60" is too scrunched, like it's been slightly flattened
3, there's no "MC" above the 60
an honourable mention goes to the lack of "Japan" below the tape counter text, though I'm sure certain versions of Ravage omitted that... though probably not any that called him "Jaguar", Ravage's Japanese name...

Thanks guys,( dident realize i posted in the wrong sub forum) so its most likely a knock off of some sort, theres no markings on it such as "hasbro" or "takara" as there are on my other cassettes. They guy i bought it from (a dealer) had several ravages but i picked this one because he had the case, the dealer told me that he thought someone made the case thereself for the toy. Ive seen some "diaclone" laserbeaks on ebay and such that comes in box with a similar case....it gets confusing with all the reissues and ko's. Anymore info about this ravage is definantly welcome. I paid $25 for him, if its a ko, thats prolly a rip off huh?
