Vector Prime's safeguard is definitely one of the best to me.

For triple changer I nominate Thunderwing (stealth fighter)

I am very dissapointed in the thriple-combiner Star Saber...
they fall apart quite easily!

btw, even far from my fav. I think the best overall would be KNOCKDOWN (triceratops) from the classics line.

here are some positives

-though he has no gimmicks, he is a dinosaur
-unusual transformation
-good construction, details & colors
-decent in either mode
-2 minicon ports
-though not a triple changer, can attach him onto an arm of a bigger TF and use him like a claw.

There are enough good minicons to warrant suh a question?

I like Jolt very much, he is in my A class!

Safeguard.

Either Omega Supreme's head or Overload's head.
They are basically Headmasters. I was never fond of Sideway's heads.


The best normaly minicon is one that has been trodden on, and then eaten by th dog.






































































But if you must, Safeguard is probably my fave normal minicon. Or rather, the only one I haven't thrown in a box in the attic.

Although most minicons sucked, I did like Sparkplug. Nice alt mode, fair transformation and a good robot form.

Though I haven't had many mini-cons.
I generally dislike them all and therfor avoid them.

Armada Powerlinx Jolt
Galaxy Force Roots
Cybertron Sixspeed Jolt and Reverb (Clear Blue versions) Reverb is fantastic.
I own more, I simply dislike the few others I've got.

I hate minicons. What was a cool idea got repainted and crappified into unredemable garbage. However, to pick the best one, I will also go along with Safeguard, because that one is quite good.

Classics (Dinobot) Knockdown, the triceratops.

He kicks all sorts of ass.

For some reason I like Windsheer, (comes with Armada Wheeljack). He's a good jet with decent articulation for a minicon, plus he is symetrical.
