I just managed to snag one off Ebay for a fairly decent price. It was a little more than i usually like to spend on Alts, but considering its the Takara/Binaltech version i went for it.
But i was wondering, should i order the Jazz stickers off Reprolabels to make the pure white RX-8 Jazz look more like G1 Jazz, or is the original toy a rare enough find to keep it 100% original?
One other thing, what parts of the toy are die-cast?

I think you should have the stickers but be careful because you wouldn't want to rip the them or misplace them.

I just put reprolabels on my Alternators Jazz. They really make the piece.

I agree, the labels are a great addition that really make it Jazz.

I like him plain, but that's just me.

Compare the two Seibs galleries we have on here. The stickers really make Jazz a lot better.
I assume the main frame, just under the head and between the arms, would be diecast, to provide additionaly support to the whole toy. And maybe the feet, to add balance to the toy.

The stickers really are the icing on the cake. Without them its just not Jazz ( which is technically isnt, its Meister )

Firstly, I can't stand the look of stickers on the Binaltechs - but that's me.
As for diecast content *stuggles to remember*
Bonnet/Hood
All four doors
All side panels
Boot/Lid
He's quite hefty in diecast content and thanks to the change of his arm and leg transformation you won't scratch the paint unlike the Subaru molds.

I don't think that you will be disappointed if you buy the stickers. But if you can't decide, buy another one and put stickers on that one.

Thanks for all the comments guys.
I had already compared the two toys using the galleries we have on here, and the one with the stickers really does look better obviously, but i was just thinking of original value, would it be worth keeping him in his original state, since i am unlikely to ever find another one of him in this country in any stores so i now have something that i can personally consider rare...
*looks at the gals some more*
Eh screw it, i'll order the stickers! Not like im ever going to want to sell him anyway!

Don't put the stickers on.
Ask yourself, "Self, would Jazz get stuck in 80's fashion?"
Hell no.
Let the toys be the representations they were meant to be. The alts are supposed to be 'real' cars. If Jazz was meant to have deco, he would have ala Smokescreen.

Why not get hold of a loose Alt Meister? You can add the stickers to the Alt version whilst keeping the BT version nice and pristine?

As soon as you open the box it's devalued though, so why not put the stickers on? I guess it depends on if you collect for fun or profit.

That's exactly what I did. My Binaltechs have nothing on them and the Alts have the reprolabels. The Jazz reprolabels make him look G1 despite him not being a Porsche.

I wish i could, but the one i got was the only one i could find on ebay as it is. Otherwise i would do that.
