So I'm looking at BBTS and found some nicely priced Beastwars Neo figures, but they say Korean Box. Does anyone know if there is a difference in the actual toys at all, or is it just packaging difference?

I believe just packaging, they're perfect for opening.

The only difference I know on the actual figures themselves is that the Korean Big Convoy head isn't nearly as solid blue as the Takara release. It's a bit lighter. Otherwise from everything I've heard, they're essentially the same.

I believe it is the same. The toys are licensed by TAkara to Sonokong. Korea does a similar thing with Brave Toys, and some RID. Much of Beast Wars II toys were produced as well. That's how I got BB and Starscream.

May I add that Armada has also been released by Sonokong? One thing about those releases: all use the Hasbro versions of the molds, if applicable. For instance, Sonokong Black Convoy has the rounded sword tip and blank discs of RiD Scourge.
