Takara Animated Release Dates for Blurr, Rodimus, Clear Optimus + Rodimus, Wingblade Prime and More!

Summer means school's out, and for this year it also means that the third wave of Takara Animated figures will be released as well! Thanks to the blog of Japanese collector Autobase Aichi, we've got listings and release dates for an assortment of Animated figures!
When we first heard that Takara would be taking Animated under it's wing, we thought of the possibilities of new repaints or perhaps even new molds. We've got the first part down pact, as we're going to get a Clear Optimus Prime and Rodimus in a Two-Pack! While Hasbro Animated mainstays such as Jazz and Blurr will be released under Takara, yet to be released Hasbro figures such as Rodimus Minor and Wingblade Optimus Prime will be also released under Takara's jurisdiction. Rodimus Minor is set for release by Hasbro in September, so we shall see which companies' upstart Red Autobot will be in our collections first. It will also be exciting to see the various Takara paint schemes on these figures.

I don't even collect Clear figures and this Clear Rodimus + Prime set sounds pleasureable.
And I usually don't collect variants, but when it comes to Blurr, I usually like to grab Takara's version too.
So thank you Takara for doing Animated.

I can't wait to see previews of some of these figures, I'm still anxious for Rodimus to be release but now I wanna see what Takara does for some of these figuers, I really dig the metalic paint jobs

Except Optimus was
Earth Mode in the Hasbro 2-pack. I suspect he'll he switched out with the regular deluxe Cybertron Mode. Let's hope they fix Meg's loose hip joints.
And Sunstorm is regular retail? If he gets the shiny treatment I may have to get him.

Now if Takara can change the decos on these molds, can they redeco them into totally new characters Hasbro didn't give us like Ramjet?

I'd rather buy Hasbro, but I'll definitely get the clear set, and possible the new versus set.

Supposedly he's upcoming along with some others, but nothing's confirmed on Hasbro's side. They're probably trying to work out the timing and stores along with the other lines.

its sad but it might be easier for me to import rodimus rather than try and find him at my TRU. Im still looking for Arcee and Rachet. And def getting wing blade prime and maybe the clear prime/rodimus set

YES! even though Ill probobly never get any of these, Im just happy that wingblade Optimus is being released. I never buy anything off of the internet unless I have somthing that allows me to get somthing off of the internet, but since these are most likely not going to be released in the US, Ill probobly have to buy them off of the internet, or I could just fly over to Japan and buy them. But whats the point of doing that when all I have to do is use the internet to get them? But unfortunately I have nothing that allows me to buy stuff off of the internet. I know Im just repeating myself, but its all fact.

Augh, I wish the Hasbro ones (Ratchet, Arcee, Rodimus, Wingblade Prime) would be easier to get. At this point it's so much less trouble just preordering the Takara ones but they won't match my others because of the modified paint jobs.

Not all Takara Animated figure are metal'd up. Some are just normal, with minor color applications.

I couldn't agree more. I don't even think they will ever come to my neck of the woods so I ordered the Takara Arcee. I'm just happy I can get Roddy in some manner (that's not too expensive). Sooner than I thought too. Guess that means the US version is coming out sooner than Aug.

I am so excited about Rodimus and Wingblade Optimus!!!
The clear Optimus & Rodimus set sounds really cool! I wonder which mold of Optimus they'll be using? Since Rodimus is Deluxe class, and considering the price, Optimus would probably also be Deluxe. I think the Deluxe Optimus from The Battle Begins set would probably be best, but without the battle damage of course.

Rodimus is incorrectly priced as a Voyager instead of a Deluxe

I really want them to finish the Animated toyline here in the US. I don't have the money for Takara exclusives, no matter how good they are (which they are).

I can wait till fall for Rodimus, but WA Optimus is just something I've been waititng for too long to pass up. I might get it, if Hasbro makes no plans soon.
