The next version of Disney Label Buzz Light will be a black and white repaint. Japanese online toy store - Red Mercury has listed the pre-order page for the Buzz Light Monochrome version.
The toy is confirmed to be released on the 24th July 2010, along with plenty other Transformers toys in the second half of the year.

Better lines died so this and Star Wars Crossovers can continue. Can't believe Tomy/Hasbro still turns profits.

OK, I'll admit that my wife and I own both the Mickey & Donald figures (she loves her some Bumblebee, and bought Donald at Dairycon because of his "VW Bug" transformation. I felt compelled to pick up the Mickey afterwards to add to my Prime collection).

However, we have no interest in picking up the Buzz Lightyear figure, especially if he's the same size & price-point as the previous two... Mickey & Donald are "classic characters", and Mickey's alt mode is an obvious TF reference (and Donald's is close enough for my BB-loving wife)... but Buzz's spaceship?
While there is no (obvious) TF reference, it's a nice nod to 'his' ship from the movie/cartoon...

So, if you're a big fan of Disney, Toy Story, or Tim Allen, he might be worth picking up. For me though? He's an easy pass...
