Hong Kong Toy World forum has updated the upcoming Takara version Transformers Animated figures, with new images showing Takara Tomy version of Ultra Magnus & Swindle.

Takara version of Ultra Magnus is spotted with a navy blue colour front cab in the alternate mode compare to Hasbro version.

As for Animated Swindle, due to the clarity of the image, the main difference will be the colour of the wheel rims. Hasbro version of the wheels are all black, as for Takara there will be silver colour rims.

I never got Animated Ultra Magnus and it is pretty much the only one I want now that I have stopped buying Animated toys.

The f**k? People complained about Animated Magnus having light blue plastic instead of white and Takara go overkill by giving him blue metallic paint instead of white plastic? :BOOM:

TA26 Megatron light & sound - Oh, so shiny!

TA27 Ultra Magnus Light & Sound - I don't see much difference

TA28 Autobot Sentinel - His shovel and rims are painted!

TA29 Autobot Jazz - His silver looks almost chrome!

TA30 Blurr - metallic front bumper

TA31 Elite Guard Bumblebee - red insignia and a golden head!

TA32 Wreck-Gar - Is he shiny or is that just the lightning?

TA33 Rodimus - Hasbro pics?

TA Optimus Prime & Rodimus - That's not Activators Optimus. TFSource lied.

TA34 Samurai Prowl - Hasbro pic

TA35 Decepticons Sunstorm - Shiney wings

TA36 Swindle - The cannon also looks gray.

TA37 Waspinator - Hasbro pic

TA38 Wingblade Optimus Prime - So, that's what the Voyager looks like armored up. =P~

TA39 Jetpack Bumblebee - Hasbro pic

TA40 Cybertron Mode Ratchet - Hasbro pic

TA Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime VS Megatron - That is Cyb. Mode Optimus! TFSource lied twice!

I hope some better pics of Magnus shows up so we can clearly see what other changes were made other than the navy blue cab.

Swindle, son i am disappoint.

I'll have to see better pics before I'm willing to drop that much to import it.

Agreed. I'd love a colour scheme that's more the G1 sandy brown than the Animated greeny-brown.

Beautiful. I look fantastic.

No this isn't narcissism, it's the truth.

I am so happy that the Optimus & Rodimus set comes with Deluxe Earth Mode Optimus instead of Activators Optimus! However, they don't appear to be clear. Maybe it's not the final version? Even if they're not clear, I'll be buying them anyway.

Too shiny! :P

But it looks like we've now seen the entire Takara Animated lineup, eh?

40 is a nice number to stop at. I'm not 100% sure what Takara's direction is going to be.. if they'll stop at 40, continue with repaints, or even venture off and make some new molds. Hopefully it's the latter.

Still clinging to the slim hope that Takara will produce a voyager-class Elite Guard Warpath...

I'm actually hoping for a repaint or two. Well, mainly just a G1 repaint of Prowl. New molds would be great, but since these were designed by Hasbro, would that even be possible?

I heard a rumour that those Japanese fellers are pretty good at making robot toys.

TFA Takara are good, but I hope Takara can release a new mold, such as Omega Supreme.

Well...yeah. :P  But I've never heard of them making new molds for a pre-existing line that was completely designed by the other company. Normally it's just straight import and repaint.
