Speed Dial 800's feet backwards?

I just got Speed Dial 800 today, and I transformed him according to the instructions, but when he was finished I looked at his feet from the side and noticed that they appeared to be backwards.
The way in the instructions makes sense in relation to his knee joints, but I think he looks a lot better the other way around.

Here are some pics from Ryan's gallery showing the feet the official way around:

What do you think?

I prefer it the 'standard' way, the shins look a lot better.

I don't have Power Up, so I don't know about his legs.
I quite like having Speed Dial's legs the 'wrong' way around for two reasons, one, the feet look better, and two, having the knees bending the wrong way feels like a homage to G1 Soundwave.

Because he resembles Soundwave soooo much. :P I prefer the official look. Having hollow spots in the front of the legs looks silly.

You're right, he doesn't exactly resemble soundwave, but he is a covert ops audio device, and when the first photos of the con repaint surfaced I saw a few people comparing it to Rumble or Frenzy.
