Not even Bumblebee deserves the Bumblebee treatment.

Don't even understand the whole Bumbleebee treatment anyways. Okay, it was a smoking hot Camaro. BB was a VW buggie..... I understand licensing and all. The fans that became fans just because of the movie. THUMBS DOWN!!!! You don't know what you are missing.
To answer your question, toy-wise, I would love to see Leader Long Haul, Jazz, Barricade, Bonecrusher... omg, and Ironhide. Voyager Long Haul and Ironhide just aren't big enough.

I wouldn't mind seeing more Barracades. But there's too many BB's out. I don't understand how he can still be selling.
But do you know what we need to see? A BB combiner. Yeah! Make it happen KOs!

By Bumblebee treatment do you mean having an insane amount of toys and merchandise released based on them? If so, then I'd like to see more Ultra Magnus (since I'm a mad Ultra Magnus collector.)

Says the guy with a 2009 join date.

Oh and no one should have gotten the treatment Bee's gotten. It's pretty absurd really.

I was going to say Seekers or some other army builders but I'd rather have gotten new toys and characters. Scrap, give us repaints.
The Energon Omni-cons got repainted for the 07 Movie, why not the Terrorcons?
Battle Ravage is a lot cooler than ROTF Ravage and Cruellock and Divebomb wouldn't look out of place with the Movie Cons.
Slag, throw in Cybertron Repugnus who'd make a great Reedman and repaint Clocker as Movie Hot Rod. I have a custom, it really works.

That isn't much different from TF fans who see G1 as overrated.
I don't see what's the fuss with "the Bumblebee treatment". It was called the "Optimus Prime treatment" before the movies came out.

Agreed 100%. No character deserves this many incarnations from the same line.

Except before the movies came out, we'd see maybe a maximum of 3 different versions of a character per line...how many BBs are we at now? I don't even want to think about it.

I'm the same way with Starscream, but I don't think anyone should have as many repaints/slight reworks as movie Bumblebee has. I know he's essentailly the main character for the movies, but come on. Someone should draw the line following repaint #3,655.
(That one was Stealth Bumblebee from Movie line #1, if you're keeping score at home.)

The Bumblebee thing is excessive, there's no denying that. I wish they'd make a better deluxe Jazz, give Jolt a repaint, and make the 3rd Arcee bike.

BumbleBee is cool and all, but instead of wasting money on his beyond Leader Class it should've been Blackout...
So I vote Blackout or Megatron, they were the coolest movie guys(well Megatron was ugly in ROTF) and they need more toys, and better toys.

Well that doesn't mean I'm a new fan does it? I didn't even know there was a TF forum until someone had told me about last year when I was looking into Masterpiece figures.

i like bumblebee too and all but hasbro just goes a little overboard dont ya think
i want some more jolts with different weapons and more detailed
i wouldnt even mind a few different sideways with different weapons you know what i mean, maybe even some skids
really look at 2007 movie bb and rotf bb whats the differnce
1.firing missle
2.little different car mode
3. head sculpt
now they give bumblebee a new body for tf3 sounds like this is for money with the figures also prime gets a new body more money for hasbro next yeat

This (aside from 3rd party products and people bashing Quickswitch) is the issue that works me up the most about Transformers. I grew up in the G1 era where almost every mold and repaint was a new character (the notable exceptions being Powermaster Prime, Goldbug, the Classic Pretenders and the Actionmasters). While Beast Wars had a small core cast on the show the larger percentage of figures were original. The Unicron Trilogy tended to limit itself to one repaint per franchise (with some exceptions). So I don't understand why Animated and especially the Movieverse are so rancid with repeat figures. Sure popular movie characters "deserve" more representation but there are at least a dozen figures of Movie Optimus all of which transform from what is supposed to be the same robot mode to the same vehicle mode.
I don't understand why.
It does make my blood boil when yet another Optimus or Bumblebee gets released instead of, say, Rippersnapper. At least we're getting a fair amount of fan-attention at present what with most of the Animated supporting cast, ROTF Bludgeon, the forthcoming Darkmount and Drift and so on.
The number of Optimi and Bees sickens me, but it could be worse.

Could be the retailers asking for more Bumblebee/Prime than the other characters. So Hasbro makes sure these two are almost always available in some new version.
It can't be all bad; at least some of the profits from Bumblebee and Prime go into making toys of other characters.

The only way to stop the company from producing the countless repaints of the same mold is for people to stop buying them. Even though we might not be the ones buying these things, there must be huge numbers of people out there picking them up. Otherwise, Hasbro would not be making them. So, we all need to stop buying the repaints!!!!!!
