It's the 10th anniversary of Car Robots/RID, so where's the anniversary line? Where's the overpriced re-issues? Could it be the rumors I heard sometime ago are true, between RID and Universe the molds are unusable?

Well Botcon is giving us Skybite.

And FP might give us an RID inspired repaint of the new Crossfire units.

RiD wasn't significant enough, it's more like a revival if anything else, and most of the line was repaints anyway. All in all, there were only these new molds:

2 for Prime and Magnus
4 for Landfill
3 for Rail Racer
3 for the Autobot Brothers
1 for Megatron

In short, 13 in all, not counting the unreleased Beast Machines and Spychanger toys. And yes, some RiD molds have completely deteriorated, specifically the Autobot Brothers (Prowl, Side Burn and X-Brawn). At least we're getting Skybyte as BotCon, and who knows? Maybe we'll get a Side Burn as a freebee?

No one can ever know the full extent of my joy that the car bros. are done. Railracer needs a repaint like 5 years ago though.

I just said that Side Burn, Prowl and X-Brawn are gone. Who knows how many more...

I still need to replace my damned white Prowl, the door busted off. And I never did pick up the first version of X-Brawn...seeing as I'm now collecting Brawns, I might as well.

Second on the thought that it would be sweet to see a Rail Racer repaint, though 1 is epic enough for me.

Could always busy yourself collecting the Universe and Robotmasters repaints.

Then there's Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Silhouette and Shadow Striker

I know I'm omitting a few but I can't remember the small jets names. I'm also aware that none of the Robotmasters are original RID molds.

See, if you don't have anyone outside the actual RID lineup, there's a load of cool repaints out there. The Universe Constructisons are excellent.

While I could see them doing it...RID really wasn't amazing enough, I was about 8 when it came out and even then I hated it, it was just too goofy to be TransFormers(even more goofy than G1's episode with the 40ft drive).
I could see it happening, but I don't think it will.

RID would have been awesome if it hadn't had Predacons in it..... I was so excited when they brought in the Decepticons, can't remember if they were called Combaticons or not, but Ruination made me enjoy the show alot more and Scourge also... and then there was Fortress Maximus

The last episode I saw was when Megatron became Galvatron... did the show end there cause I never saw another one?
