Prime, prime.........always prime! Why not give the Decepticon's Emperor of Destruction the repect(and fear) he deserves!

1.TFC#6 Megatron (the one with the energon mace/morning star and functional firing mechanisms for the gun and stock parts)

2.1984 Megatron(Hasbro)(toss up for Takara #16 Megatron(the one with the sword but no stock or scope with functional firing mechanisms)

3.Masterpiece Megatron [a mixed bag on accuracy from the show but quite fragile] Prelimanry plans had him with the "Heart of Cybertron" and a Key to Vector Sigma.

4.Master Megatron of Galaxyforce b@d@ss except for the "nose" paint job for the Galaxyforce version

5.Toss up between Animated and Henkei Megatron

Here's my list:

1. Masterpiece Megatron. (sure, parts fall off if the wind blows wrong on him and transforming him is an act of walking-on-eggshells, but he just looks magnificent!)

2. Leader Class Animated Megatron. (Need anything be said?)

3. Henkei Megatron. (The deco makes him better than Hasbro's version)

4. Energon Megatron. (Kibbley and brickish, but still Megatron all the same!)

5. G1 Megatron-both toy and animated versions. (Nostalgia, people! Nostalgia!)

G1 Megatron - he's smaller and less prone to breaking than the Masterpiece
G2 Hero Megatron
RID Megatron
G1 Galvatron *cough*
Action Master Megatron

Am I the only one that thinks the Masterpiece Megatron actually looks worse than his G1 counter part?

I'm surprised RID Megatron is getting so many votes with his 9 out of 10 crappy alt modes.

Here are mine and why:

1. Cybertron Megatron - a triple changer, a combiner (somewhat), lots of articulation and play features make him the best Megatron toy in my book

2. Energon Leader Class Megatron - lots of play features and a great homage to G1 Galvatron.

3. Masterpiece Megatron - despite it's many flaws, the level of engineering that went into designing him is astounding.

4. Animated Leader Class Megatron - a great re-imagining of his G1 incarnation, though I still wish his wings did more than just flip back.

5. Transformers Collection Megatron - the best version of the G1 mold yet.

Well they didn't say WHICH Megatron so...
1.BW TransMetals Megatron, I had this toy when I was little, I loved it...
2.BW Megatron...similar thing as above...
3.TFTM Megatron, besides how short he is I really liked him, here's hoping he gets his old body back in TF3 for a better toy!
4.Cybertron Megatron:He's pretty good, before the movies came out I had alot of fun him.
5.I didn't own the other good Megatron(energon) but I'd say that.

In no particular order:
MP-05 Megatron
Animated Leader Megatron
Beast Wars Transmetal Megatron
Armada Megatron
Henkei Megatron

With Megatron, the rules are a bit different from Optimus. Unlike Prime, Megs G1 styling isn't carried over thoughout the many later incarnations. Oh, and Beast Wars Megatron was an unstoppable force of awesome.

Agree with a lot of the choices; here's mine:

1. MP-05 Masterpiece Megs: Yeah, yeah, fragile, fiddly, tarnishes, etc etc. But I remember when I got him being in sheer awe of the closest thing to a toon-accurate Megs that can actually transform. Plus, comes with buttload of accessory goodness... mace, sword, :KREMZEEK:

2. BW Telemocha 02 (deluxe) or DX (ultra) Megs: Both have faaaaantastic paint apps/accuracy. Little dude can remove the tail weapon & has a fist underneath. Big dude has even better paint apps, looks awesome once you pop off the battle mask.

3. TFC 6 Megs: My favorite version of G1 Megs toy, because of all the accessories & play value.

4. TF:A leader Megs: Looks just like the toon. Love the modern-day reinvention of the personality & threat Megs should be.

5. Reverse Convoy/Rebirth Megs: OG Megs possessing a Prime's body? With both their heads attached and switchable through clever transformation? In a G2-esque tank body? Pure awesome sauce.

Honorable mentions: Armada Megs - Don't care that his knees can't bend; he rocks that look. Takara BW (trans)metals Megs - Awesome purple/bronze/black dino & bot; no GPS. Henkei Megs - Love the head sculpt; right colors.
