I never understood the translucent plastic obsession. This repaint is about as pointless as the Sleeping MP Prime repaint. Why don't they at least give us repaints meant to be a different character (Shattered Glass MP Prime, Sunstorm) rather than the same character, only dead. These repaints are kid of ironic. Takara is literally beating a DEAD horse here.

You think that, but the target market doesn't. Ghost Starscream and Crystal Convoy figures sell quite well in the Japanese market, while Western characters like Shattered Glass Optimus Prime or Sunstorm would get the same response you've given to this figure from the Eastern Market.

It's all a matter of opinion when you boil it down.

Me personally, I love it. Can't wait to get it, if only for a small hint at what the next MP other then sleepy time prime will be.

Indeed, but after MP Sleep Convoy, only MP Rodimus Prime can do the justice... Or maybe MP Galvatron....
If not surely it will be an anti climax...

I think Sleepy Prime is pretty lame, but I'm looking forward to Ghost Starscream. I will be a bit afraid to transform him, though. I'll probably get him to bot mode and just leave him be from there. Damn fragile wing hinges...

Man I wish we could get some of these Japanese artists to draw some Transformers comics for IDW.

The only thing worse (in terms of TF fiction) than eHobby TF fiction is...

No, wait, can't finish that. I thought Kiss Play was at least funny in an ironic kind of way.

Shattered Glass sold pretty well in Japan. The Japanese are, however, wondering how many repaints you intend to get out of the ROTF motorbike mold.

If only the comic image was bigger and clearer so we could tell what's being said and what's going on. I wanna know more about the story.

On a side note, turns out I was right about MP-03G's fiction taking place post-2025 when I made this topic. I could still use to some help with it, though. ;)

::Looks at his Micron collection::

I think I have a few hundred questions that need answering first.

It's not fair if we both need to defend our cultures. Then I have to defend Kiss Players, the sneakerformers, transforming computer mice that are too valuable to put your fingers on and so one. All you need to defend is Beast Machines (though I think that was Canadian), the Energon dub and how Michael Bay was able to set foot within five yards of the Transformers franchise without bursting into flames.

What do you mean by "looks like joker"? Other than the fact he is surrounded by green fumes, a huge grin and crazy eyes..... 8-}

You know, I'm a douche. Plain and simple. E-hobby did a two releases of Sunstorm and here I am chirping WolfDawg like some uppity bee-otch. My apologies BTW.

Regardless, I just want more!

Sorry about that, I spend more time in Auto-correct mode than is good for me. I'm like Ross from Friends without the boning Rachel part. Didn't mean to jump on your back like that.

You're certainly right about different nations having different aesthetics for toys like this. Japan sure loves its shiny and/or see-through!

Ghost Starscream bores me terribly.

Let's talk more about Rachel and how she looked better prior to getting into that 'all too thin' look.

It's all good. I just remembered the two releases on my way home from work the other day so I thought I'd post that I'm a tool. I didn't think you were all up on muh' back or anything like that.

That preview art still doesn't touch any of Geoff Senior's MarvelUK works.
