Reissue Landcross and other Multiforce questions

Can someone give me some details about the Landcross reissue and its potential worth?
I've had little success so far finding good info on it.
Second, any suggestions on stand-ins for a classics display for Victory including these guys? I looked at Energon Autobot Deluxe figures, but they avoid matching up with these dues in just about every possible way.

Well, to my knowledge, the Landcross reissue is largely identical to the original. The reissue has paint apps instead instead of stickers, and the faces have a bit more paint detail. Instead of being sold in pairs (DashTacker, WingWaver, MachTackle), they were available inidividually in the Micromaster Collection, as DX Micromaster. In each case of twelve, two were completely black to represent their stealth mode in the story. As you can imagine, getting all six can be hard, even more so for the black version.
The original still fetches high prices, I've seen one or two MIB go for €200 ($250) as it's still different enough. The reissue shouldn't go for that much more than any other Micromaster six-combiner. I'm hoping to find one complete one day.

I can tell you the reissue is now far more expensive than it should be. Unfortunately I recently started seriously wanting one. That's a bunch of words that end in "l" and "y". Off to bed, brain no work.

@ CP. What would you want to know? Based on My Transformers Generations Book as reference, there are slight difference between the original and the Re-issue(which I own)paint apps. The re-issue has some chrome on his chest plate Autobot sigil is stamp graphed on, individually boxed not as a set or two pack as the original + a Black variant. He is kind of front heavy

and looks ugly from behind.
He's got an additional back story retconned as having guarded the original Ark years prior the crew were resurrected before their appearance in Victory.
But over all if you want to be a G1 completest, it is a no-brainer buy.
Ebay sells the original at US$ 250 up while the re-issue around US$ 150 (regular colors)

It's definitely the most expensive of the Micromaster reissues. I've been working on all the rest right now as I love the little guys, but Landcross is probably going to wait a bit.

But it's not really a Micromaster set is it?
The individual bots are like, Spychanger size, yes?

In the box he's called a Micromaster deluxe but in the anime, they look the size of a regular bot........more like the Scramble combiners so it is kind of confusing why they were labelled as such.

In order to fit in better with the Micromaster reissue collection, despite the fact they weren't Micromasters at all. I also heard that, should the series have continued, Dinoking would have been next, sans shells probably. Maybe with Monstructor as the chase variant?

Ah the possibilities........if Takara hadn't gone belly up, if Dinoking was also released back in 2003........though sans the shells, he would have looked naked.

*sighs* For the last time, Takara
merged with Tomy, it wasn't
bought out.

Well Takara had money problems right? Friendly takeover whatever..........just like the MP Starscream crown etc, those lost opportunities post merger.

Having owned the cheapie KO's, and now owning the black variant re-issue set, I have to say I like them, but he's a different piece like Road Caesar. Somewhat odd looking as a combiner, but the little bots are gimmicky and fun in their own ways.
The alt modes are pretty cruddy though.

You know what? He reminds me of Superion G1. So woobly front/back heavy.
