Very nice, but I've never really been keen on HTS... seems I can get either a better price, better service, better stock or all of the above other places.

Everything here? Bought. Even Thrust, who most say is a piece of crap. I for one do not think h is a piece of crap. Every Transformer I own I do not think of as a piece of crap, even though some say different.

I just checked and the price for these guys is a whopping $0.03 more at BBTS.

Since I can't use a coupon on the preorders at HTS, and I CAN combine shipping with my Pile O Loot at BBTS, I'm keeping my order there.

This, all though some of the figures are cheaper at HTS by more, the PCC commanders, the HFTD leaders, and definitely the HFTD scouts are all $2-$5 cheaper on HTS. However, amortized shipping in the PoL and the fact I don't have to pay in May for what won't ship until August edges BBTS out for once.

If the FREESHIP20 coupon would have worked, I'd have been all over this. It didn't, so there's no reason for me to preorder since they're your run-of-the-mill retail figures. They'll be everywhere soon enough.

I pre-ordered a bunch or Universe 2.0 years back at HTS and they arrived two weeks AFTER I started seeing them at my local Target. Do you realize how painful it was to see those figures on the store shelf and pass them up because you expect them to arrive at your house any day? Yet days and days go by and nothing arrives. Then you start to wonder if your shipment got lost. If so, should you buy them at the store so that you don't miss out? But what if you do that and your package shows up anyway. Do you really want two of each figure?

Ugggghhh. Not doing that again.

Well there not shipping until august...so I'll hunt in the usual places instead.

I like the Thrust figure. Granted I don't have the Botcon version to compare, but I have no problem with the removable VTOL pods. If there's any complaint is his jet mode looks the weakest with those long guns because of his thin wings

Not really sure. He's been sporadically released at retail and HTS for a while now. I got lucky and picked up at HTS shortly before he sold out for the 3rd time. Kmart had him for a while, but now gone. TFCC has him in stock, but you have to pick up Bumblebee also (though there's a sale for the 2 with box damage for $53.99)

Right now, BBTS has a preorder for $49.99. Arriving in June. Perhaps that's when a more general release is coming. I've heard mentioning of it here and there, but I've yet to see him at any store. Doesn't mean he's not out there, though.
