maybe this is no comparison, but
as you know I'm a minicon fan, and I recently
took out my Starsaber, and I personally think it SUX!

I'm glad I didn't buy every version of it!

I also have the energon sword of Cruelock, and I think
that sux too.

I had Vector Prime holding the starsaber vs
classics meg holding the cruelock sword and
just didn't really care, sure it looked kinda neat,
but I can do without.

It is overpriced for what appears to be a replica, though the seller seems to think this is an original release.

However, it is a lot cheaper than an actual Master Sword, and a better color too, I might add.

if you own fort max id say its an excellent piece to complete it - also is this version compatible with omega prime like in the last episode of the RiD cartoon?

I do have a Brave Max, and I think the colors would go really well with him. I'd imagine the sword would work with Omega Prime. I think thats what he meant when he says that it works with God Fire Convoy.

If I had a Fort Max, I'd probably spend money to get it and complete it. It seems to be a nice addition

Judging by the box, this is not a KO. The end of the hilt is NOT a point, like the famous KO. ALso, the guards at the base of the blade extend out farther than the KO version. Oh, and the blade itself is longer and thinner than the slightly stubbier KO I have seen.

Better than paying $200 for a damn sword.

I was the only bid, under $50 US.

The dude in my signature will be very, very happy swinging this thing around!

Hell, I might buy RID Prime/Magnus just so they can swing it around...

I'm sketchy on my history of this piece. I thought I had heard that JRS Toyworld made some replicas of the Mastersword to sell that also included the handle for the Matrix blade for God Fire Convoy, so you could use it either way.

I don't know what to tell you, but for the size of it, it is a good price...I'd just like you to be able to see what is inside the box exactly.

Wasn't JR's Toy World. I remember the guy your talking about though, same one that did the Cybertron Bumblebee Kits and the Devastator Statue. This isn't his though.

I give you my word, I will tell the truth about the Super God Sword that I ordered. KO or not, when I get it, I will post a short review with pictures of Brave max and MP Prime weilding it. Hell, I might even get MP Megs some of that sword-weilding action!

Here is my review:

The box is a glorious glossy high-quality finish similar to that of the C-310 God Ginrai i bought a few years ago. Still have it with all inserts, etc. I HIGHLY reccomend you spend the $100 on one, you will thank me for it.

The box is marked with 4 color options for the sword: Red (Fort Max version), Blue (Brave Max version), Silver (Grand version), and a 4th that is labeled "SECRET!", and no photo is shown for it. I assume it is eithier clear or a hologram sticker version. This is just a guess. A picture of the sword and each Transformer it is supposed to go with are shown with each sword color.

The box is opened to find a plastic tray holding the hilt, the red blade, and the longer hilt for Omega Prime, along with a sticker sheet.

The quality is overwhelming. This is not a detailed piece, but it is done rather well. There are NO Takara or Takara/Tomy marnings on the box or the items themselves anywhere. The box reads "Toystar". Perhaps Tak/Tomy licensed this out to them, I don't know. This might be a KO. But if it is, it looks JUST like the real one. All of the details are there. The proportions are right, etc.

The first thing you notice when it is assembled is the scale of the thing. The sword is EASILY 14" long...WITHOUT the Omega Prime "thin" handle/hilt.

The attachment for Fortress Max/Brave Max only works when you just attach the attachment FIRST, then attach the sword itself to the attachment, which, in turn, is attached to the hand.

The longer hilt is VERY tiny for the attachment for the bottom of the sword, almost like they want you to chones just ONE only. If I attach the long hilt to the sword, I am affraid I will never be able to get it back off without breaking it.

Hence, no pics of MP Prime or MP Megatron weilding the massive thing. Not like they could swing it anyway...

The thing just reminds me of the film End of Evangelion when Aska is killing the white mass-produced angels, and takes one of their massive swords and cuts trees down with it while taking off part of a clif at the sme time, ultimately taking out one of their legs with the sword, after swinging through all of that with the same stroke. Just a MASSIVE sword. It almost looks too big for even Brave Maximus...IF you can even imagine such a thing.

Anyway, G1 Scorponok also arrived today. He is just sick. Needed to be as big as Fortress/Brave Max though. What a shame, that.

I have to say, if it is a KO, I am not complaining.

For less than $70 US with 5-day shipping. I feel like I stole it. Spike is happy about it...just kook at the last photo!

G1 Scorponok is no small fry, ethier.

The sword is just massive. I am still in shock.

This item is a MUST for any TransFan. Even if you don't have a BM/FM, as they are damned $$$, at least get RiD Omega Prime put together and get the sword for them.

On second thought, if Brave looks too small for the GMS, then Omega Prime would look like a midget, would'nt he?

I'm going to chime in with red. On the Brave Max, it should help offset the blue, and bring out the red detailing in the figure. The blue will just blend in.

OK then, I have a little news. There are 3 colors as you said, blue, red and silver is the third. I found all 3 for sale as a package for 146 shipped. So the red one for Maximus, blue one for God Fire Convoy and silver for?

Wait, what the hell am I thinking. I don't need 3 Super God Swords, do I?

I have to agree. The RED one was the one I wanted. I place the BLUE more with Omega Prime, as the TRU Japanese giftset came with only the blue blade.

I prefer the red because it was the one used in Headmasters in Japan. Plus, I like more red on BM, and less blue.

I am working on it as we speak. Scorponok will also be included in the new sig. Never enough love for that G1 figure...

So, do you reckon theres a need to own this in all 3 colors?

I do have a God Fire Convoy so the Blue would just go to him. But would it be a bit much? Decisions decisions. With Botcon right around the corner, do I really wanna blow 150 on swords?
