G1 Style toys

I was looking through the Impossible toys Valkyrie/Arcee news item, and it got me thinking. What if some third party company started making figures in the original style that never got a proper figure, but wouldn't look right as a repaint. Such as Arcee or any of the fembots, Orion Pax and Dion, etc.
If someone made figures like that would you buy them?

Not at those prices. They're just too expensive for me. If I had the money, probably.

Totally depends on the character/figure. Likely no though.

To date the ONLY original 3rd party figure I felt was of a quality worth the price was Warbot Defender, aka "Springer".
On the other hand, if they whipped up a Dion, Orion Pax / Optronix, Devcon, and other show only figures, I'd be sorely tempted by them.
