New Images of 2010 Botcon Rapido

The second reiteration of the Universe Prowl mold has made it's way into Taobao, and courtesy of TFclub, we get some new high-res images of the figure. Available to those who attend Botcon 2010, it is unknown whether the figure will be the free attendee figure, or part of the side sets. The remold goes by the name of Rapido, homaging a Generation 2 character colored in red and teal. This homage not only provides a better toy for the character, but features all the decals that the original toy did, with the number '19' on the sides of the car, 'Autobot' on the windshield, and the G2 Autobot Logo on the hood of the car. Rapido also features a brand new head sculpt, also paying homage to the 90's character. Feel free to check out the pictures below!

This figure might be my favorite of this year! The colors look great, the head sculpt looms awesome! Solid mold! Can't wait! Who's he come with? Or do we know yet?

The non-box set figures so far include Rapido, Gnaw, a rumored Slicer and a rumored Double Punch. We'll have to wait to see how it all pans out.

And of course the words "Autobot" written in huge letters on his windshield to avoid enemy detection. (I know thats G2 accurate but was it really necessary ???)
I thought Gnaw was the special attendee figure ??? Do you get both for free with the Primus package, your choice of one, or is this what the unlucky people at the back of the line get when they run out of Gnaw figures ???

No, Gnaw is not the free attending figure. Gnaw is most likely a troop building set. As in, you get to purchase a set of 3 Gnaws from the Club Store after you pick up your package.
Rapido and Slicer are the current most likely suspects for free attending figure. One of them will be the free attending figure, and the other will be part of one of the Add-On Pairs available for purchase from the Club Store.

I can't make it to BotCon...but hot dayum do I want that figure! I had Rapido as a kid and recently parted with him on eBay.

I was kinda wondering about this guy when i first heard about him, but now that i have saw him, i really like his head mold and would love to have him...

Damn they did a fantastic job on this guy. I hope i can find him one day. lol Iw would be awesome to see him on the shelves...
