I was lucky enuff to catch the hasbro rep at my local tru yesterday and she informed me that the generations toy line would be hitting store shelves at the same time as war for cybertron, and that there would be a huge display in both the boys toy area of most stores as well as the r zone. So start looking for those war for cybertron toys as well thrust and drift at your local tru start as early as next week or as late as the 22nd.

Thanks for the info. I figured Hasbro wasn't going to wait all the way till August to start releasing new figures, especially with WFC just around the corner. Hopefully we'll see MP Grimlock in a week or two as well. I know they said he wasn't going to show up until after SDCC, but a guy can hope can't he?

If thats the case, not really a break from buying Transformers then. Especially for those who haven't finish the ROTF line... May still wait until August anyway...............NOT!!

This is good news. I was afraid I couldn't make it until August. Hopefully these release date will affect Wal-Mart (even if it's a week or two later). My TRU sucks ass and I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get stocked with the Generations line until October or November. Crossing my fingers.

Crap...I had forgot that I pre-ordered with HasbroToyShop.com. I hope this means they'll get their stock in a few weeks. Won't really make much of a difference because Walmart, Target, and TRU all suck at getting figures (unless they're exclusives). I've still yet to find Skystalker, HA Barricade/Mudflap, Bludgeon, or Brawn just to name a few...

Cool. I already have WFC Optimus and Bumblebee and Botcon Thrust, but Drift shall be mine. Hopefully I can pick up Drift and the game on the same day!

Good to know! I'll have to check TRU sooner than I expected, and I'll remember to look for special displays outside the normal action figure aisle.

I am pretty excited about this. I really want to see WFC OP and Gen Thrust up close. I think those two will be purchased on sight. Actually, Thrust will definitely be bought on sight. I know I will pass on WFC BB, but I do want to at least see it in person.

Drift is a little questionable for me. I love the mold, but don't dig the all white appearance at all. Is the Blurr repaint a for sure thing? If so, I will choose to pass on Drift.

Apparently it came from the mouth of Hasbro themselves. And Blurrz believes it to be true, and he has his sources, so I'm confident in putting my faith in that.

Can't wait for the new figures. I'm sick and tired of seeing the same transformers on the shelves for the past few months and the store employees look at me funny because I check out the TF section so often but never pickup anything.

Great about the hunt of decepticon stuff but I was talking about generations which every website had been reporting would not be released until august or september at the very latest. But with war for cybertron it seems there pushing up there time table on these figures.

Darn and here I was already depressed enough that I won't be able to play WFC as soon as it is released, guess I won't have a good start on the hunt till I get back to Ohio, I think the closest TRU where I am is Orlando and that's 80 or so miles away and I was just down there a little over a week ago. Hopefully it will be hitting California first then I'll definitely have enough time to get back home and be ready for the hunt.
