Youtuber - peaugh has uploaded a video review of the upcoming Hunt For The Decepticons Battle Blade Optimus Prime. This is a Voyager class version of the movie Optimus Prime.

i see the transformation is a bit tricky for a voyager class.almost like a leader class to me..but overall,i luv it(my only wish is that hasbro would've done the matrix thing for the leader class OP).. :APPLAUSE:

oh,n is that ur daughter??she's cute...hi there~

Meh, I'm honestly not all that impressed. It's too similar to the leader, only not nearly as good. And I don't know if it's just how it came across on camera, but the colors looked pretty terrible on him. At this point the only thing keeping this a potential buy are the guns, which don't look that good, and to a lesser extent the matrix, which also doesn't look all that great. I may just skip it.

There is no reason for me to buy this. I already have two RotF Leader Prime figures (one in Bot and one in alt), so it would really be silly for me to buy something that is inferior to what I already have. However, I think it is a good think for someone with no desire to own a Leader Prime. Also, it will be at a better price point for some folks, so that is a good thing too.

I'm less and less impressed with this guy's reviews. He started talking about articulation and only covered the arms before getting side-tracked. He said it's inferior to the leader but didn't explain, instead he points out that it has even better weapons than buster!

About the figure: I want it. He looks like he'll be a lot shorter than the first voyager so he'll look better next to voyager Megatrons.

He was one of the first TF reviewers I saw on Youtube and was fine but once I watched other reviewers who were more organized with their reviews, I watched Peaugh's videos less and less.

The one thing he has over most other TF reviewers is that he gets early scoops on TF figures by buying stolen toys from Chinese factories to review months ahead of release dates.

I really like the look of this new Voyager OP and it will finally give me the push to buy Voyager Megatron too since they can be paired up on display.

Not a bad idea, i really want that little matrix. I really dont like the shade of red/orange they used on him. I'll pass on this voyager prime too.

I love this, my ONLY complaint is that the swords are not covered while retracted.

Feet have been mistransformed in the video and all the pictures posted so far.

Makes the figure more stable in robot mode, that's for sure.

I posted a written review of the figure here:
