But I would not at all whine if it was in the Classics style either!

I think a WFC Shockwave could effectively serve for both considering Shockwave is a Cybertron based character even in the G1 continuity.

I think G1 Shockwave will never appear in toy form again, what with the "OMG IT LOOKS LIKE A GUN IT MUST BE BANNED!!!" type laws that exist today.

I think WFC version would rock and would rock hard

As long as it has one eye, one hand and screams awesomeness I take it. Personally I would want WFC, Classics and 07 PSP movie game design.

I'd be fine if Shockwave is not high on the re-release priority list soon. He has a G1, an Action Master, a Binaltech, and Energon homage...he is not exactly short on figures. Roll out the Chromedomes, the Rotorstorms and the Sludges please.

His WFC bot mode is so G1-ish but has a more useful alt ;mode so I'd be happy with that.

I think at this point we're gonna have to instead start wondering what the movieverse version is gonna look like, whether we want to or not...

Let's remold the Energon one a bit (mainly the arms) and call it a day. If he had two regular arms, he would be perfection.

I'll take almost anything G1 inspired.

If the rumors about TF3 are true, we just might get ourselves a good G1 Shocky homage.

Seeing as how every main villian for the movie-verse got completely screwed over in the toy department, I'm not really looking forward to movie Shockwave.

However, I'm all for WFC figures. That's actually a subline I'm looking forward to completing. And don't think a sci-fi gun Shockwave is completely out of the question. Remember, classics Megatron was a gun. He was based on a Nerf toy and had purple and green with an orange tip to follow toy safety laws. I'm sure a purple laser pistol wouldn't be too hard to get past those same toy safety laws.

Even though I only buy Movie stuff at the moment...hmmm....wonder if Classics'd be worth getting into....

I'm gonna go with Classics style. I love War For Cybertron, but my collection is all about neo G1.

Well if you like the movie stuff and are into G1 even just a tiny bit, then you will LOVE the classics.

Agreed! The thought of a Movieverse Shockwave is scary as hell. He'll probably be blaze orange with three eyes an no left arm at all.

I'd prefer not to, thank you. I do not want to see yet another of my beloved characters poorly reimagined by the LAM franchise. Devastator was bad enough.....

Well both of the game versions where pretty cool, especially the PSP design.
But then again the movie designers might want to go a different route. Oh well Hasbro will likely repaint him purple down the line.
