Takara Transformers Animated Wave 4 has officially hit the Japanese stores this weekend, this article we have a good look on Japanese version of Skywarp, one of the Starscream's clones.

Notable differences in term of paint work compare to Hasbro version are purple color hands and feet, Decepticons logo, wings, brighter silver color for body parts and face.

I really like the Japanese version of these, but just not into the animated line, but maybe i might pick 1 or 2 up.

I really wish that hasbro would do thier faction symbols like takara

I'd say this is the first definitive improvement in the paint for an Animated figure coming from Japan. Before now, the others weren't that different, and some were even worse with the slapped on shiny paint. I'm loving the silver lining around everything on this Skywarp, along with the blacker-black color and different hue of purple. Glad the rest of the Takara Animated figures don't look this good!

Is there some reason they can't paint the mold into figures we didn't get here, like Ramjet and Slipstream?
